This by far is the only stop and shop where the employees go above and beyond for their customers. Very easy store to navigate through! Lots of parking and the store is always extremely clean. Very good produce manager!! This is my number 1 Stop and Shop!!

I’m scanning items at self check out. The camera goes off.The female manger comes over. The cashier and her watch the video like 3-4 times. I said I scanned the item? She’ says okay.They continue to watch. Other customers are now looking at me. It was very uncomfortable and rude. I will not be returning to NB stop n shop. I’ll go to Big Y. They don’t treat people this way. Customer service rule #1 Greet the customer and smile. Also if the cashier is in training then say that. Don’t make me feel like a criminal.

That's what you get for watching a yell in ur face why you watching me I don't need you to watch me I did 12 yrs for this company and was dismissed cause of management issues didn't like me manager was a drunk got transferred but still made my job not easy new britain store and she also worked at newington issue is stop watching me.........

The carts have an irritating anti theft device that locks up the wheels, which wouldn't be such a problem except that they false trigger and lock up when exiting the store. The self checkout is the classic Stop and shop irritating self checkout. It makes you place the item on the scale before scanning the next item, and good luck if you're trying to purchase something small like a packet of yeast since it probably won't detect it. You'll have to grab a candy bar or something to weigh down the scale so that you can continue checking out. The returnables area has 3 machines, and the glass machine was out of order when I went.

There bakery staff management are very lousy employees. I put in a order for a cake and they told me that they would call me when it was going to be ready and never did so I called and they said that it was ready at 820pm but they closed at 9pm I got there at 838pm and no one was there so called again and after they rejected my call 3x they finally decided to pickup they told I would have to come back the next day because there was nobody from bakery when I literally had spoken to them 15min ago and let them know I was on my way like how rude and disrespectful they gave me no cake or refund nothing

Why do they charge for Paper bags. Don't they make a lot of money selling mediocre food.
