OUTRAGE...Went for general eye exam..
left visually impaired...rude. unprofessional...put so much dilation med in my eyes...when I left office even with the glass could not see...its by the grace of God I made it home...still having problems with eyes...never had before...Eye Doctor kept telling me my eyes was dry, dry, dry she was dogmatic about dry eyes never had before...went in seeing came out not seeing...and the eye Doc tried to instill in me that I couldn't see...it was so disturbing...went in well came out sick...overall conduct of technician that put drops in my eyes and Doc both conspired to make my eyes something they conjured up...was it due to my age to compliment what I should be and my color...disrespectful were they and unprofessional to their calling...they have no idea to the poor treatment the seed they have sown they shall surely reap...how do you make an honest profession criminal...the tech put so many drops in my eyes ?...my eyes ? had been dilated before, never had a problem...eyes impaired so long went in early for treatment...when I left was unable to see almost til 8pm still discomfort...and eyes are still being adjusted...never in all my years had this problem...the harshness of the eye Doc...they did not offer me the glasses after dilation...talking to front desk at checkout asked them if they had dilation glasses...the glasses was not offered and they were not effective...now I'm screnching, stretching my eyes...they impaired my vision...they hurt me instead of helping me...I'm praying that truth be revealed overall...went in seeing, just for routine eye exam...came out vision impaired...

I am very disappointed with Starling Eye Physicians in New Britain. This is the second pair of sunglasses I’ve purchased from them in less than two years that has appeared to be defective. Their only explanation for the damage is that I used them while on the ocean. To make matters worse, they work with a lab that does not stand behind its product, even after less than a year. Despite purchasing a protection plan, once you’ve used the warranty, you’re stuck with the same inferior product. I expected better quality and service from a business that heavily upsells its protection plan.

Does not call to tell you your appointment has been changed, rather sends a letter in the mail that gets to you too late. I called the first time and got immediate attitude, was also told my appointment would be at one time and then received ANOTHER letter in the mail saying they changed my appointment again. The time on the letter was not the same as I was told. Inconsistent and inconvenient since I have to request to leave work early or go in late to make the appointment. Go to call them to ask for phone calls rather than letters and see why they keep pushing appointments out and get sent to voicemail. Website says they're open 8-5pm. Phone says 8:30-5. But automated machine keeps saying office is closed even when calling around 9. There is always a problem there.

First time here and the last time. Employees are uncaring and rush you through without regards to the time it takes to get glasses and improper fitting whenever they do arrive. In all my 60 years, this is the worse optical store I've ever been too! Plus they charged me for thin light weight lenses and these lenses are thick as my.old ones.Disgusting and horrible business!!! I do not recommend this place at all!!!

Don’t come here if you are buying glasses online as they do not measure PD (pupil distance). They center their care more around surgical patients. Apparently they don’t think it’s practical to invest in the equipment to measure PD. That was the response I received from the manager April.. she claimed that most ophthalmologists don’t have this equipment; although my exam a year prior was at UConn, & my PD was listed on my prescription. The tech was great, but what’s the point of an exam if I can’t use my eye glass prescription online. It’s 2024.

I was recently in the Bristol location and the woman at the front desk was so rude and belligerent to the rest of the staff members there I was in shock. I've been a patient of Dr. Robinson for many years and I've also been bringing my mother to see him for the past 15 years and when I tell you the front desk is the worst most unpleasant people I've met in my life they are. The blonde woman that was up at the desk refused to give me her name she was short and had glasses and the other one also refused but thankfully another employee Kara? I think told me her name was Co lette. I Probably the worst case of attitude I've ever see with my mother who is 93. My mom tried checking out and handing her chart in and Co had the audacity to ask if my mom could "hurry up and move a little faster I have other people behind you". To a 93 yr old!! Not old was this the first shocking thing she also had her mask down under her chin with a pop in her mouth. I thought starling had a strict mask policy and the other office enforced it but this seemed very off par with how adamant the other staff workers were with wearing them. So not only was she no mask and being rude she was eating. This is disgusting behavior and nobody has called me back to address it. Shortly after I got my mom out of there I saw the same woman SMOKING outside the building. I'm seriously considering looking for alternative care at a more established and conscious ophthalmology practice because the front desk is deplorable. Co lette and the blonde woman are bad for business. Learn to treat patients with respect

Quick and painless eye exam. Good COVID procedures in place (temperature checks, sanitizing). Biggest complaint is that the ophthalmology department was hard to find; I had to call them to find out which building.

Yesterday, I went here for the first time and had an eye exam with Lisa and Dr. Stern. Both of them were very professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. I have heard from several people that Dr. Stern is the best around and he did not disappoint. i'm happy to report his findings were that my eyes are healthy. They are clearly, diligently following the protocols for Covid-19 here. The only knock here would be me and another patient had appointments for the same time slot, which I believe is a Starling issue, NOT a doctor issue...I will certainly go here for my future eye care needs.

I love the doctors but I hate the machine to sign in. You should have the info in the computer since I have seen 4 Dr's in the past month .
