There are many many things they can improve on but for today I want to say there is no longer a physician on call. I would not have had to need a physician on-call if the receptionist would have contacted the proper person to write my prescription when I called them at 11 AM 1 PM and 3:30 PM. I get a phone call from a Sierra stating that I need to see the urgent care that there are no doctors on call. So then they call me back from the urgent care company and tell me they do not accept my insurance so I say well how much if I self-pay they say no you cannot self-pay if you have insurance. this left me having to call my neurologist to write the prescription until Monday. Very embarrassing but at least they had an on-call service unlike. I will be finding a new primary care physician that has nothing to do with starling. This is not the first problem I've had with them with my old APRN . It was a nightmare.

I was supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Wang, but was referred to this individual. The day before my appointment, I was called and told my appointment was cancelled because the office agreed with the results of the bloodwork and that no services were needed. They refused to listen to me when I said I had other symptoms and needed to talk to somebody.Just to note: I was diagnosed in those notes, but nobody had gone over treatment options with me or explained to me what was going on. Previous offices have told me it was in my head even when ANA was positive. This was why I switched providers. Everybody has the right to a second opinion.Anyway, PCP called the office and the same thing was said to him, even though he pushed the referral. After all, he referred me in order to answer these questions about this autoimmune disease. Now, I have to wait for my PCP to help me get an appointment with UConn Rheumatology.Time was wasted. Staff did not listen. And now, I am still in pain and full of questions.

Annual physical one month ago Physician said medications would be Prescribed Went to pharmacy 10 days ago, they said there were no refills and they would contact physician Called pharmacy 1 day ago, 9 days after 1st call. They had not heard from physician, would contact and RX would be available today. Went to pharmacy to pick up refill. Starling physicians had not returned call. Called Physician today to get refill. No starling physician wad available. Spoke to an answering service for another practice. Answering service said that their MD on call could only provide a prescription if a telephone visit was set up with one of their Physicians. Extremely disappointed with how Starling Physicians is handling patient needs.

Just attempted to make an appointment as a new patient...the receptionist was so rude that it deterred me from the wanting to see any of the doctors in the practice...just remember your front end staff is the first impression that new patients will get...

Three stars only for the doctor. The office and billing staff are disorganized to say the least. I was referred by my PCP and trying to schedule an appointment with the new patient paperwork was a hassle. Then when I got to the appointment, I had to fill the same paper work out again for some reason. Then I was charged $700 for a 10 min. visit. When I signed up for a payment plan, the billing office continued to mail me bills with highlighted amounts due, even though I was enrolled in a payment plan. OH, I was also told that I, as the patient, should ask the doctor how much everything would cost prior to having an appointment.

Went here for a second opinion on my inhaler Spiriva Respimat inhaler. They said it was best option for my situation but they went above and beyond by saving me a huge co-pay cost. They helped my apply for the goodrx and scripthero codes before I pick it up at my local pharmacy. Thank you so much and would recommend.

I've been using Starling (formerly Grove Hill) since 2009 for practically everything: gynecology, mammograms, pediatrics. They have just about everything you'd need in one location. Your experience may vary by department but generally this is a great place for competent medical service, no matter who the patient is.

Really great APRN. Very informative & took the time to listen to me & explain things. Did not hurry me along like some Dr. Offices do.

Well done Doujia. It's not often you actually enjoy a visit to the doctor. Pleasant, informative, encouraging. What else can I say?

I waited two months to see dr wang. I was disappointed that I did not see him but saw Shen. My arthritis has been bothering me since April and was hoping to get some help. After talking with her and doing some blood work I find out that I have osteoarthritis. I asked what I can do for this. She said they deal with joints. Maybe I could try cymbalta! Is there a doctor that deals with osteoarthritis? I’m so frustrated at this point. Guess I’m looking for a miracle cure. Sticking with Tylenol and ibuprofen.
