Been coming to Lenny's since I was 18 ( I'm currently 29 ) & the clerks were usually nice. I've always liked the fact that I could find limited time items, despite not having the money for them in time. I live right across from the establishment, so it's about a 30 to 45 sec walk.

Out of the way neighborhood market with an array of sandwiches which is my HEEL ? quick and helpful service. Wiches cold , warm and pressed and definitely worth the visit. My go to for a quick in/ out! Also food items available too.

Placed an order twice with them. I called in beforehand placed an order for 3 sandwiches, both times I did not say I wanted hot sandwiches. The first time I ended up going in store to pick up, and the lady - average height, Spanish accent and black hair/bun- immediately started cussing at my sister and I when I tried to purchase the sandwiches with EBT she stated that we cannot pay for hot food with EBT, which I mean duh, welfare has been around since my ancestors worked the farm soo.. But anyways she snatched the sandwiches out my hand causing me to stumble and in front of 4 children under the age of 5.The second time was today, my sister called to place an order regular turkey cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato and mayo.. she said okay and then called us when it was ready as we hadn’t shown up yet, and when we explained we are running late and happened to mention the word “EBT” she proceeded to say to never order from there again and then hung up in our face. 1. My sister is pregnant and that was rude and I hope it gets back to her.2. I have lived in New Britain my entire life. I lived next door and I never once called and said “Hey Lenny, I need cold sandwiches only. “ customer service is customer service, I’m aware that you’re on the corner of crackhead ave and lick road, but you would think that the person on the phone taking the order would ask “hot or cold.” Anyway, Lenny’s sandwiches are top 5 but this lady keeps chasing away people. Not sure if you know but there’s a whole fb post of multiple people talking about this lady.3. Anyway guys, sandwiches are good but make sure you specify if you want your sandwich heated up or not. Maybe subway changed and doesn’t ask either lolololol I miss Lenny ?

Was told it was $10 and got home they charged over $13 to our debit card. They push the button so you cant approve the amount smh we have gone there for a while so I feel really upset about this. How can it be an accident when the total is supposed to be $10 even and they charge $13.52....that's NOT a slip of the button! Uncool.

I love that place. Very polite people. Has many varieties. Lenny's sandwiches are the best in town... Very satisfying and filling. Definitely worthwhile.
