“Such a hidden gem! A friend and I stopped in after kayaking to get iced cream. They have so many flavors of ice cream and it was delicious. We then went into the store and were surprised to see how extensive a collection they have of wonderful gifts. I grew up nearby and had no idea this incredible place was nearby. Definitely will be coming here for holiday gift shopping!”

“What an amazing place to find gifts for your loved ones! Honestly, whether you're shopping for a 9 month old or a 90 year old, you'll find something here!! My gift was the hit of the party before it was even opened...the gift wrapping that they provided at no additional charge was unbelievable. I bought a gift for my sister's shower, and she said she didn't even want to open it because it was so beautifully wrapped! But once she opened it, everyone was asking me where I got it from. It was a great experience and the girls working there were very helpful seeing I wasn't even sure of what I was looking for to begin with. I'll definitely make this my first stop for all gifts! This store also has clothing...bought myself a beautiful sun dress!!!”

“This is an easy place to find gifts for my wife. They have lots of items to choose from that she is sure to like. If you need a birthday or holiday card, they have those too.My go to gift from here for her are the Jewel Pops. They actually keep a record of which "Pops" I have purchased for her from here in the past so I don't make a mistake and get her the same gift twice. Now that's what I call a helpful staff. The staff here is also friendly.As a point or reference, it is located next to the entrance to the Southington Drive-In movie theater.”

“Wonderful collection of really beautiful handicrafts. The person in the shop was very helpful and explained the free trade mission. The staff seems genuinely interested in helping customers understand the importance of supporting these underprivileged communities but also in telling the backstory of each amazing item. Great shop for gifts and you can feel good about your purchases rather than just buying junk made in China.”

“I have to admit, I assumed this would be a Newbury Comics knock off - but I thought the selection was wonderfully curated, and the people working there were SO helpful - we sort of wandered in with a 1, 2, and 3 year old - the one guy directed us towards the things in their sizes, quickly pulled things down if anyone so much as glanced at them, and found matching things from the adult section. When he got the things we couldn’t reach down - he put all of the sizes on a rack we could reach and swapped them with sometime else so it was easy for us to pick them up ourselves. When he grabbed the adult stuff, he said - don’t worry if you don’t love that, just leave it there I can put it back - which was so thoughtful. I thought it was the best combination of salesmanship and consideration I’ve ever seen. Walking in it was just supposed to be browsing and a time sink, and we walked out with things we really liked. The other employees were sweet with the kids and knowledgeable about the things we were buying. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole concept as well - 1 meal for every $10 spent - so it was a fantastic experience. I don’t think I’ve ever even thought to write a review of a store in a mall but bravo Box Lunch!”

“My best friend who lives out of state sent me an absolutely beautiful and delicious fruit bouquet. I have to confess I typically use edible arrangements but after tasting this fruit i'll be using them from now on! All the fruit was perfectly ripe and super sweet. Chocolate covered Granny Smith apples are phenomenal. I didn't catch the delivery driver's name but he was very kind and handled it with care. Thank you for making my birthday yummy”

“I want to start by noting that this store is now located in Meriden, CT! I stopped in a few weeks ago to start my holiday shopping. I was able to pick up a variety of items, all from local artisans - everything from earrings, crafts, crystals, knits, etc. I found items to be all reasonably priced, especially for being so unique. I want to warn visitors that parking may be an issue. It's a busier street with a tiny lot where you have to pull out into oncoming traffic. I had to be very careful with that.”

“I purchased a Valentine's day arrangement for my wife and daughter, and I paid extra for the flowers to be added to the order. Everything was great, but sadly, the flowers started dying the very next day. I contacted customer service, and I recieved a call from the local store in less than 30 min., and they apologized and asked if another flower arrangement delivered would be good. I said, of course that would be great! Well....they shipped over literally 3 times the amount of flowers that I originally ordered, and also sent a box of complimentary frosted cookies! The flowers look amazing and my wife actually had to put them in 3 separate vases because there was so many!! Edible Arrangements has always been great, but this was above and beyond. Thank you to the Queen Street location for your excellent customer service!! It's comforting to know, that a company values their customer's satisfaction, when they pay good money for a product!!!”

“Nathan, the delivery driver was exceptional! I had placed a delivery and accidentally transposed the house number incorrectly. He was so kind to call to ensure that I had the right address and even called back to tell me that they were undeliverable because the recipient wasn't home. He patiently waited as I contacted the person and gave him the o k to leave the gift at the door. I appreciated his genuine concern for leaving the item outside as it was warm and he did not want it to get ruined. This was exceptional service and he was very polite and professional. “While trying to kill some time, I decided to check this store out for the first time & see if they had some cute notebooks or interesting materials. From the name, I was picturing something related to The Office, where they sell various types of high-end paper products. Additionally, I had recently watched a show based in NY, that had an actual store catered to writers, list keepers, etc. So I had expectations set. When I stepped in, I realized it was a Hallmark store on steroids. I'm not saying I was disappointed, just wrong. The store has many great items. Fashionable clothing, trinkets, gadgets, games, books, cards & feminine notebooks sprinkled in between. I did make a purchase & found some interesting items that I may return for later. The store itself is well maintained, properly staffed & customer service is very pleasant.”
