“This review comes from my heart.. I am a partially disabled air force vet. Since the covid 19 struck i have had the worst luck you can imagine. I am 61 years old and have led my life with integrity!!!! I was laid off from my job over 6 months ago. I have no money at all. I was being evicted from my apartment and have no one to turn to for help. I am not used to asking for help. 211 referred me to Unite CT.. This is where I met Sherese. She is such an amazing person. Sherese takes her job very seriously!. She cares so much about helping people. Without her i would be homeless now. I insisted on thanking her publicly. She deserves all the kudos in the world. I just cant thank her enough. Now i understand why she is the supervisor. I wish i could do more for her. Thanks to Sherese i have a roof over my head tonight!!!!!!”
“In all of my dealings with Prudence Crandall, every person I have met have been professional and caring... I couldn’t pick a better organization to share my resources and time with!❤️”

50 High St, New Britain“I got hurt at work and had to go on disability the only place I can afford, would be a place like renting a room at the YMCA it was clean comfortable everybody was friendly and nice I really have no complaints it was a nice stepping stone but I did get offered a couple other apartments that goes by my income, but without the YMCA I would have been stuck on the shelters or the streets”
“This organization is amazing I was once homeless and they help me emotionally and my kids due to a house fire and I will never forget how humble and compassionate they were with us. God bless them always. Milca Pinero”
