There are always problems at this location. I would have thought that sales reps would have actual mechanic knowledge. Most do not, or have outdated knowledge. Some of the male reps are also rude to women. Just because a lot of us do not know everything about cars does not mean you gaslight and question her about what kind of car she has. Yes, I checked my registry and title for my info and copied it, thank you very much.
Also, I do not appreciate being told to go to a junkyard. Seriously. I told the rep that we do not have support and we cannot jump from 1 place to another. The part we need HAS TO BE NEW because our car is our ONLY FORM OF TRANSPORT. He still suggested the junkyard until I said 3x to order the part.
To add: this saga continues! I called the district manager, she promised me a discounted price and that it would be delivered from West Hartford (not telling me which 1, I had to call) to New Britain in 2 days. None of it came at the time they promised, and the store manager from West Hartford said the parts come in at 5 PM. There was no delivery to New Britain...and come to find out, no part either.
Nobody, not even the district manager, believed me. Nobody at the location wanted to verify the info with the district manager I spoke to, nor speak to the dealership in Hartford that I call for verification. They kept trying to sell me the wrong part, no discount. They also insisted that they could not use the VIN to look up the RIGHT PART and my info about my car was wrong.
All these local businesses and corporations here in New Britain seriously only look out for themselves. They do not look to the customer anymore. This location, and its corporation, are 1 of them. DO NOT go there, especially if you are female!!!

I do not like leaving bad reviews. Unfortunately, this store is nothing like it use to be. You go there and you leave wishing you never went there. Even calling this place is so disappointing. People answering the phone are extremely unprofessional. One says they don't have the part, the other says they do. They should change the name of the store to circus zone. It's so chaotic dealing with this poor excuse of a business.

Jorge was awesome I could tell they were understaffed and he was answering phones getting customers what they need and being helpful and kind. Wonderful job Jorge! Some customers were being rude about the line but it’s out of his control and he worked so hard.

The employees are weird and unhelpful. My mom had a question regarding something in her car and the one of the girl employees gave her attitude for no reason saying “we don’t have to check anything, that’s not our job” and she wasn’t busy either. I suggest you go somewhere else if you actually want service and help from people in AutoZone.

I don't even know where to begin. ?
So my partner went inside this autozone. He bought a part and left. Mind you there's a whole security at the door. And the manager who's a woman. Was next to him the whole time when he bought the part. She even tried to speak to him. The extra co workers saw him pay. And when he left he took his time. Was on camera with his friends vehicle. Nobody ever came out. Nobody said nothing at all. And not even 20 minutes later. They're saying he stole a part. Less than 100 bucks. Why didn't the security stop my partner? Why didn't you stop my partner if you're a manager and saw him there? You could've stopped him if he really stole the part. I'll never ever shop here. There's ppl always outside asking for money. Especially in the afternoon and night time. I even tried to go Pay for the part she said he stoled. But because she made the false report is too late. They never have the parts you need. And last time I even step foot there. My sister worked there and they accused her of stealing. And from the reviews is sounds like they gotta set someone up just to get some cash. That's the worst store in New Britain. I drive a few towns over just to get a part because they suck. Don't accuse a person who paid for his part in your face after you tried to flirt with him and he ignored you. ?

just stoped at this place a year later and it is just as bad a year ago. Go to southington or Newington and save your self time and headaches

Hands down the worst autozone I have been to.As a mechanic I visit auto parts stores multiple times a day.This store is one I will avoid at all cost, the attitude of the employees and the lack of any structure or anything reassembly a business goes out the window one you walk into this place.Personally if I was regional manager I would close this place down, the whole city knows this place is bad service and attitude just about every time.As an entrepreneur, I make note of things I would never allow in one of my businesses.I will never allow what has happened to this autozone happen to any business im associated with.It’s just bad business.I hope someone who care and can actually affect change reads this too, because all I have said is repeated all over New Britain.Fix this place or close it. Because at this point it’s just an eye sore, that people avoid like the plague.Would give negative stars if possible.
