Boyfriend purchased a car here 3/18/22 - less than a week later, the check engine light came on. I have a pocket scanner and got error codes regarding the catalytic converter and fuel balance system. Now, my BF is def a fool for not getting a warranty on the car so we acknowledge that legally they're not responsible for repairs or anything like that, but they wouldn't even look at the car as a courtesy to diagnose what the exact issues are (for example: if the converter itself needs replacing, or such error codes can occur for related systems such as gas cap etc. and fuel balance system errors can be a multitude of things) - something we now have to bring the car in elsewhere for inspection. And the fact that such a serious/expensive issue as the converter came on less than a week after purchase is highly suspicious. While we can't prove it I wouldn't be surprised if codes had been cleared from the car prior -- at the very least, it calls into question the quality of the inspections they perform on vehicles before selling them.Given their asking prices vs quality, you'd be better off purchasing from Facebook; you'd have just about the same level of guarantee for cheaper.UPDATE 11/21/23 - Already looking for a new car. Was gonna bite the bullet and had purchased parts to replace the converter but when the mechanic went to do the work, he told us they wouldn't be able to fix the car without extensive additional repairs because APPARENTLY the entire underside of the car was completely 'ghetto' rigged to the point where the new converter wouldn't fit because it was apparently missing manifolds? I don't know enough about cars to fully understand but yeah can't fix the converter so can't get the check engine light off. Now the car is over revving where going 20mph = 4-5 RPMS and it stalls out. Paid almost 6k for a car that barely lasted a year

I bought a car from streamline about six months ago. About a month ago it started to make noise and vibrate when I came to a stop. Turns out it needs about $3000 dollars in repairs. I took it to two mechanics and neither one of them wanted to touch it.Went to streamline to rent a car about three weeks ago. My BF told Tom what was going on with the car, his response was how did you do that, take it off road? Never took the car off road drove it to work and back, all paved roads. I understand you take your chances buying a used car as is. I just thought I would get more than six months out of it before it needed a major repair. Long story short I’m stuck paying for a car that I can’t drive. Until I can find someone who is willing to do the extensive work it needs. Oh yeah and paying to rent a car so I can get back and forth to work. Just a suggestion, if you buy a car from here take it to your mechanic and have them put it on a lift. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Definitely had a good experience at Streamline. Tom is friendly and efficient when responding to texts or calls, and in person. A good purchasing experience all around, with a great car at a reasonable price. I would recommend giving them a try for your next buy!

I took a 3 hour train to buy a truck that Tomy said was all good ready to go. I arrive and test drive the truck and the horn didn't work. He then told me I didn't need a horn, I told him you need one to pass inspection. Then he told me it was my job to fix and it was easy, I said if its so easy let's do it right now, show me where since you are the mechanic. Then they couldn't show me and said well it's actually a lot harder to do. They said they forgot about it. I would have been fine if it was an honest mistake and offered to fix it but instead he tried to pressure me that I was supposed to do that. They say they do inspection pre-check but showed lack of knowledge for what exactly is on an inspection. They do not care about the customer, they care about making a sale. Wasted my money and a full day of my life. Don't fall for it.Seeing his response... He never offered to fix it, he tried to get me to buy it still. He had his mechanic ask me if he paid my fare for the train if I would come back to buy it. He cant even ask the questions himself so he makes his mechanic ask them. Never offered to have it done by Wednesday. Also during the test drive the truck lacked acceleration and was not aligned correctly. This guy is trying to make a quick buck on his vehicle and his response proves that he is lying trying to cover up what happened.

Terrible place. No communication. Better not ask more than one question or you will be ignored. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

There's a lot of cheap cars, if you need something cheap and working, that's the place.

Would highly recommended Streamline! Tom went above and beyond helping me walking me threw the process and was even right there when there was a minor mishap with the car I purchased and I was back on the road the next day. I absolutely love my car. Having had to go threw this car buying process pretty much alone I was worried it was going to be stressful and I got to say it wasn't all that bad.
