I worked here years ago before it was bought out by the current big name vet hosp vca. I don't know about what costs are now but years ago (like maybe 10 years) they were very reasonable & vet service was very good. I know they now have an exotics vet that comes in twice a week who will see reptiles & amphibians. Which is great because aside from the large emergency hospitals not many vets see reptiles or amphibians. I think that having a exotics specialist in any vet hospital is great cause people who own exotics will be better able to care for their pets if they dont have to travel long distances & pay crazy office visit fees. Besides the Dr. who sees exotics the other vet I know & love there is Dr. Dallas she is very honest & accommodating & down to earth. All in all I'd have to say I liked it like I like most places better before the big name bought them out.

Very satisfied with VCA. They took care of my kitty and got her the help she needed right away. They went above and beyond to save her life. I highly recommend them.

The staff at VCA Naugatuck has been wonderful in every way since we began bringing our pets when we moved to Naugatuck three years ago. The staff is professional, courteous, helpful, caring and efficient. Dr. Berlinsky's concern for her pets and their owners is evident in her attention and care that goes above and beyond w/each visit or phone call for each of her pets. I would highly recommend VCA Naugatuck.

I don't go there anymore since I don't drive. I always thought they were extremely kind & decently priced.

Very disappointed... many pets, a lot of years, and no room for return patients... I was told to schedule my dog somewhere else because they are "booking so far out" and when I did, and then try to schedule a wellness visit and follow-up with their normal vet's office, VCA did everything to dissuade me from making an appointment other than saying "no." I am so heartbroken that wanting to bring my dog back to the office where she is familiar with the great vets and techs is haulted because they can't find a spot for her... When I finally said to the receptionist who was on the call that it sounded like she didn't want me to make the follow-up with the office, she said maybe I would be better off going back to the other animal hospital. So, no interest in even following up with VCAs OWN patient, but you can just continue to bring her to the other vet's. Shout out to Watertown Animal Hospital for getting my dog back in to their office within a week for a follow-up. Shame on Naugatuck VCA for not having room in their schedules to accommodate long standing patients...

Excellent care. I rescued my cat from there over 13 years ago. And when she started getting sick they were able to get her in immediately. And unfortunately I needed to put her down, they were also able to get her taken care of the same day. The staff were very understanding and considerate. They even sent a sympathy card.

We have never had a bad experience here. Everyone is super friendly. They genuinely care about the pet.

The veterinary care is top notch but the scheduling isn't worth it. A vet that needs 6 months of lead time doesn't help me when I have a health concern for my dogs. I tried to stick with them after covid but 2+ years later everyone else has it figured out.

Was able to get a quick appt, when other places recommended to me were booked out far in advance or not taking new patients.Over the weekend they were to leave a special kitty litter and a syringe to get samples. Went all the way there and they only left the syringe. No litter. Called them that Monday and never got a return call back.
