I will never buy chicken at Big Y again. I went there yesterday and bought an 8 piece of fried chicken. I heated some up and cut into it. It was blood red on the inside. I had nothing else for dinner so just had french fries. Today I brought the chicken back and spoke to the manager who only offered me my money back. He tried to tell me that since they now use a second rate chicken grower, the chickens are not treated well. He told me that the red inside was deep bruising. How sad is that? And how disgusting. I gave him the chance to make it right but between the extra gas and time it cost me, giving me my money back was NOT ENOUGH.

This pharmacy is garbage. The pharmacist refused to accept my GoodRx coupon that they are contractually obligated to fulfill. The medication was $64.25 with my GoodRx coupon. Pharmacist tried to charge me over $300!!!!!!!! She said that the price isn't always the same as on GoodRx. I can see if it a few dollars difference. But a $240 difference?!?! SCAM!!!!!!!!

The prices? Well they are up everywhere, however I have not been able to purchase the following produce in your Naugatuck Store because of quality: PRODUCE Broccoli…you call them crowns when they are actually full stalks. They have been continually rubberized….you can wave with them. And this has been going on forever! Green leaf lettuce: so limp all you have to do is stand at the end of the isle When I brought this up to the manager attention well this is what they sent in! THEN DO NOT PUT IT OUT! SEND IT BACK FOR CREDIT! Avocados? I bought 2 at 1.69 a piece had to throw one out! This week. Tomatoes: you lower the price because they are spoiling! Onions: you have fruit flies! Russet potatoes: all in bad shape! DELI You stopped carrying the all natural Turkey breast…when I asked if I could ask a quick question about it, the deli person said “yea make it quick! I asked again the other day…they must be getting asked a lot because 2 people yelled out IT IS NOT COMING BACK! All while waiting with one person handling customers! You have 3 people back there one person taking care of a line of customers! SEAFOOD Waited 10 minutes no one back there had to go up front to the head cashier…she told me to wait until she is done with what she was doing until she could talk to me! When she did FINALLY contact the manager he never came down…I had to do this twice! Finally after 10 more minutes got taken care of by a very apologetic clerk who said he had to cover BOTH the meat counter and the seafood counter by himself! This is at 5 PM! STUFF YOU NO LONGER CARRY! Poland spring carbonated water. I know it sells because I buy it regularly Low fat cheeses in the cheese isle! NOT ONE BRAND IN LOW FAT! This is AFTER the pandemic….over a period of time! I shop at one at of you competitors and they use the same Bizzutos as you do! And they are stocked but more expensive. Your price points are way out of control! Hopefully this will not fall on deaf ears because I know you have the market cornered in Naugatuck. I used to love the customer service at Big Y. I am a customer service manager if I treated my customers like we are being treated I would be fired!
