I went to this AutoZone today unexpectedly needing a new battery. I walked in and was greeted by Jacob H. Who was very happy to assist my dilemma. I purchased a new battery and he assured me it was ok to shut my car off- he will take care of everything. He went above and beyond and super polite! Kudos for hiring a great young man ! I will always come back and spread the word! BEST AUTOZONE AROUND! 5 ⭐️

Hello Management,
Jacob Hall went above and beyond to replace my battery for me. I can't say thank you enough as I was in a jam for work the next day. He did not have to do what he did to figure it out. I greatly appreciate it. Paul was there to help as well. You have two young people that very helpful, I hope you can keep them.

The staff at this place is awesome ! i came in today for a check on my ac and i was greeted by shawna who was so helpful on my subaru. we bonded off of her having one too and she gave me a cute cow for the moo moo subaru club on fb. I love it and it will be added to my collection in my car lol. Also staff paul and jacob were very helpful and friendly too as paul helped me with the sc and my coolant and jacob helped me with my CE light and coolant too. the staff greeted me with a smile and i left with one on my face too ! thank you guys ! ❤️

Went to get brake pads for my truck today. Gave her (manager) the info told her want something good. She asked if I did pads before. I said yes but they weren't any good want something else.she looked and said I bought cheap. I said no I buy store recommendations or set down from most expensive. She said no I bought cheap which she made Shure she kept telling me. I asked what else do they have. She said they have 1 better set available. So I said I bought 1 set down from the most expensive pad you sell and they melted off the truck. Her response was you bought cheap. I went there to buy pads again she turned it into a problem. Had to leave the store. Went to two other stores in town to see what they sell and if they have any problems. Turns out the pads auto zone sold me should not be used on my truck and not even an option at the other stores. Auto zone not good people could care less about families safety.. went there to try to buy something better so I don't have anymore problems and instead kept being told I bought cheap.

I want to preface this by saying that the EMPLOYEES at the Naugatuck location have all been Five Stars!! I've been coming here over the course of about 6 years for various parts for maintenance, new battery install, etc. and all the staff have been super nice and professional. My only major complaint about this location is that they never seem to have *enough* staff. Regardless of day or time, it seems like they only ever have 2-3 staff members available at most (even on weekends), which can turn what you'd think is a simple matter or an item pickup take much longer than it should (ie: waiting to pick up an order took over 20min recently). Give these poor staff a break TAT

I had a dying battery and needed assistance with battery checkout and also alternator analysis. I spoke with Chris at the Bridge Street, Naugatuck, CT location on a freezing cold January 20th, 2024. Chris cheerfully went outside with his analytical devices and confirmed that I did indeed need a battery. He sold me the best available to me and did not try to sell me the most expensive one, but one that best suited my needs.He also went back out and tested my Alternator, which failed the test. I was able to go the following day for a new Alternator. Chris was very courteous and knowledgeable. I will certainly continue to visit AutoZone for my needs, despite all the local competitors available in my immediate vicinity.Jim, Middlebury, CT
