“My splash guard was hanging from the bottom of my car yesterday and I didn't feel safe driving it. Not so much for my safety, but for other drivers. God forbid it were to fall off while driving it could cause an accident. Being a Sunday, most auto shops weren't open and the few that were did not return my calls/texts. I called O'Reilly's on a whim after reading a five star review and I am so glad I did. Zach said to bring it by and, on the coldest day of the year, went outside, looked at the guard, took pictures, went back inside, looked up the type of screws needed, got out some tools, and screwed it back in, again, on the coldest day of the year. Completely no gain for him (I obviously tipped but he certainly wasn't expecting that and was genuinely surprised when I came back later with cash). He went way above and beyond his job responsibilities and because of that I was able to make my plans (that were made over a month ago) of going with my sister, niece, and nephew to see a Christmas lights display. I also work in an industry where this is the busiest time of year, and I would have had to scramble to find a body shop that could squeeze me in this morning. Otherwise, I would have had to Uber to and from work, on top of probably paying an arm and a leg for a mechanic's labor of all of five minutes. Thank you again Zach. The holidays are a tough time of year for me and this would have just made them even worse. It was a much needed reminder that there still are some good, decent people in this world who help others without the expectation of a return. Happy and healthy holidays to all the staff!!!”
