“We recently had to put our beloved cat down. In the past I have spent a great deal of money to have a vet come to the house to administer euthanasia to our pets thinking that I did not want them to be scared or anxious. This time I decided to bring our pet to Pawcatuck Veterinary Clinic. What a comforting experience. They have a room dedicated to the process with pleasant lighting, sounds and surroundings. A sedative is administered which takes 5-7 minutes to take effect. Instead of leaving the room and using this precious time as a vet, Dr. Rosenberg stayed in the room, answered any questions we had and talked us throught the process. The vet tech who assisted was amazing and made my family be at peace. “I made an appointment to ensure my recently adopted, four year old Golden Retriever, Chance, was established with a local vet. Companion Animal Hospital was recommended by my sister. The visit was very thorough - no vaccinations were needed as he is current, but he was tested for heartworm (negative!), and they performed a fecal test (also negative). Chance is now on heartworm meds as well as an allergy/itch medicine which has helped so much. The appointment took about an hour due to the thoroughness of the tech as well as the Vet. It was a bit pricey, but its been a few years since we needed a Vet, and bottom line, Chance is worth it!”
“Dr. Hall graciously agreed to come out to put my dog to sleep even though I’m not a current client. My dog was very anxious, especially when it came to vet visits. Having the ability to put her down at home made an awful experience as peaceful and relaxed as possible. She was so kind and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need.
