Before I’d even met my now husband, I had admired the work that the Hana team does and knew that one day I needed to work with them for my wedding. I wasn’t someone who dreamt of all the details of my future wedding but all I knew is there would be a major floral moment. Fast forward many years later and they delivered on all my garden party wedding dreams. With “flowers” as a top word people would describe me, we both knew we’d be leaning heavily into the floral aesthetic for our big day. From my first call with Yumiko, to our design meetings and then the day of, she and her team were a dream to work with, listening to our vision, likes and dislikes and making tweaks throughout to create the most gorgeous florals and all within our budget. It POURED throughout our wedding so the pretty garden we had hoped to have our ceremony in was obviously off limits, but the team “brought the garden inside” and transformed a completely empty indoor space. Our guests still can’t stop talking about the flowers. The artistry and craftsmanship of the Hana team was everything I’d hoped for and we cannot recommend them enough for any event.

The florals at my October 2023 wedding were everything I dreamt about and more thanks to Yumiko and her team at Hana Floral. I'm still so overwhelmed with the beauty of both the ceremony and reception. Picking Hana Floral to do my florals was one of the best decisions I could have made as a bride. Between our ceremony, the table settings, and the hanging florals, everything looked so beautiful and well tied together. Yumiko did such a great job, even in crazy new england weather. Highly recommend!!

Yumiko did 4 table arrangements for our son's rehearsal dinner. They were simply gorgeous and delivered directly to the restaurant venue for us. Highly recommend!

If I could give this review more than 5 stars i would. Hana floral was so amazing to work with. The vision, professionalism and of course execution was best in class. Truly incredible arrangements from bridal bouquets, staircase banisters, reception arch, to a WOW headtable incorporating crystal candelabras and incredible floral arrangements. So highly recommended.

My guests are still raving about my flowers at my wedding. The pictures don't do justice. The flowers were fresh and abundant. I personally love flowers so for my wedding the flowers were high on my list. A few months before the wedding we went into her studio and she made some examples. She really listened to my likes and dislikes throughout the process.

Yumiko and her team are in a word - BRILLIANT. I knew that her work was going to be fantastic but the final product took my breath away. My guests have been raving about the flowers ever since they attended the wedding! Not only were the bouquets, centerpieces, escort card display, stage planters, and chandelier adornments unbelievable - but Yumiko was an absolute delight to work with. Bad customer service. I sent an email about ordering bouquets and boutonnières for my wedding and she responded saying she would be able to accommodate us. I emailed back saying I'm so happy she will be able to do it and I wanted to set up a time to talk and heard nothing back. So I waited, and emailed again....and called, still nothing! Very unprofessional to just ghost people when running a business.

I love flowers and knew that florals were going to be such an important part of the wedding to me – not only because I knew they would transform our tent wedding into a beautiful outdoor scape but also because it would be an aspect of the wedding planning that would allow me to be creative and have fun with! When I met Yumiko I knew that she was the one that would be able to see my vision, add her expertise and creativity and execute flawlessly – she did all of this and exceed any of my expectations. I only wish that I could have saved every beautiful flower from the wedding and thought to have preserved my bouquet. Luckily I have the most gorgeous photos and memories to see them in! Yumiko used the most gorgeous and unique flowers, and she was able to help me stay in budget working with more in season florals and also coming up with creative ideas on how we could re-purpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception. She also did an amazing job with the floral wreath that hung over our dance floor, and complementing the stunning floral table centerpieces with rose gold candle votives. I was so thankful to have met Yumiko and to have had her and her team be the floral designers for my wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any future bride!

You would be seriously mistaken to not hire Yumiko and the Hana team. Never could I imagine I would find such a wonderful and reasonably priced florist for my black tie wedding. Yumiko took my vision and executed it beyond my expectations. She is a true professional with an extensive knowledge in her field which enables her to make dreams come true within peoples' budgets (something she was always so wonderful to make sure was clear). I can't tell you how refreshing it felt to have a wedding vendor that I knew was not ripping me off.Not only that, I found a friend in Yumiko. She was recommended to me by my wedding planner who has worked with Yumiko for many weddings and that recommendation was the best I could've received. Yumiko was fabulous with communication, was very upfront about any costs and remained flexible to insure my peace of mind on my wedding day. Yumiko made every accommodation I asked for without hesitation. I wanted my bouquet for pictures 30 mins away from our venue? She drove them over in her car personally. The Hana team was early, professional and honestly better than I could've imagined. Although I live about an hour away, I am such a fan of Yumiko and her floral shop that I have driven up there to buy flowers from her and support her business since my wedding and will continue to do so in the future. It is really rare and wonderful to find such a kind wedding vendor who made a stressful process feel fun and enjoyable and made my every dream come true. You would be truly mistaken not to hire her! There are a few things I would do differently if I got married again but hiring Yumiko is absolutely not one of them. I will hire her again in the future if/ when I throw more events.

Yumiko of Hana Floral Design is one of the best florists in the state. She is very passionate about what she designs for her clients. When I have the opportunity to photograph her work at weddings I am always really excited because I know I will see romantic and whimsical florals that really make your wedding or event! Gorgeous, gorgeous work. You cannot go wrong if you hire them!

I LOVED working with Yumiko for my wedding! I guess I would say I had some specific requests with how I wanted my tent to look (flowers in front of the stage, tall arrangements on certain tables & not others, greenery around the entrance of the tent, etc. ) and I knew my color scheme, but I did not have a great grasp of what type of flowers would work best for what I envisioned - so I put my trust completely in her team on that aspect. I had sent her some inspiration pictures early on in the process, but I actually got the chance to sit down with her in NYC to walk through my vision. She took the time to walk through every detail with me to make sure she was on the same page. I walked away from our meeting feeling SO confident that she understood my vision. The day of the wedding when I first saw my bouquet (before seeing the tent) I was so happy with the final product. They were a work of art. But when I saw my tent for the first time, thats when I was truly blown away. Yumiko and her team hit the nail on the head with every single aspect. Not one complaint. The quality of the flowers were insane I just wanted to bring them all home with me! All of my guests were so impressed with the whole set up, and the tent wouldn’t have had the same feel without these spectacular flowers! If flowers are a main focal point for your wedding, I would 100% hire Hana!

When I started planning my wedding, I honestly didn’t think I would care much about the flowers. That is, until I discovered Hana Floral. Her work is so jaw-droppingly beautiful that I couldn’t help but hire her. Not only did Yumiko make all of my floral Pinterest dreams come true, but she was so sweet and lovely to work with, and her expertise and experience in the field were evident. The florals were such a huge part of what made my wedding stunningly beautiful, and I would choose her again in a heartbeat!
