We drove from Bangor Maine to this little bookstore so we could meet Nikk Alcaraz. It was definitely worth the trip. The atmosphere was amazing, the hospitality was sublime, and meeting Nikk was an absolute pleasure ?️

I was able to visit Mystic & Alice's Haunted Bookshop with my family and what an experience! I loved the spooky vibes and selection of books (and bookmarks!) My son loved the moving pictures and I had fun getting a picture with Edgar Allan Poe! And I didn't realize the Alice tea shop was right next door. Excellent ambiance and chai lattes. Highly recommend!

I would give this shop 10 stars if I could. What a unique experience! So much thought went into creating the atmosphere of this shop. They even have a large selection of children's books. There is also a section of banned books! This place is awesome!!

Finally made it here during the Mystic Strawberry Festival. It was better than I ever could have imagined! The atmosphere was fantastic, it was curated and well organized, and it had a wide variety of horror, thriller, and classics. Picked up signed copies of David Dastmalchian's comic from his visit in October 2023. It'll definitely be hard for any horror lover not to spend a fortune there. Can't wait to go again!!

This might be my favorite book shop of all time. The carefully curate selection contains something for everyone: true crime, paranormal, horror, history of medicine, a kids/YA section and, of course, works by Edgar Allen Poe. Absolutely worth a road trip.

This was a cute find and part of olde mystic village shops. The name intrigued me and the inside was cute. It was decorated with skeletons and set up with a lot of horror books/figures inside. I’m not sure if anyone working was even around as I didn’t see anyone while I was in there. The prices seemed like what you would expect.
