There are few things more annoying to me than not being acknowledged/greeted when I step into a retail store. I’d not visited the store in a few years and drove over an hour to shop there today. Two employees were there, with absolutely no one else in the store. Not one bit of hospitality was extended to me. My suggestion is spend less time worrying about your cider donuts and a little more time using words … hello … how are you today … is there anything I can help you find? This review and the continued times I’ll share this story are not the type of publicity any business desires in any economy.

This is the best nurse I have ever visited. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the choices for plants are broad and unique. This is not your typical nursery.
I highly recommend visiting and taking your time walking the property as well.

I have been stopping there for years. The place Plants and flowers are absolutely beautiful, but the staff just grouchy and awful. Not the girls that check you out but the people they direct you to if you have questions, They are not sure how to answer. This is not the first time I have Run into rude, rude staff. I had a question on fertilizers was directed outside to an older lady who was cutting spent flowers off a plant for an older couple I thought how nice I waited patiently and asked the question about which fertilizer was best and the other question about rooting agent which she so looked at me and said we don’t carry it in a pissed off way it was not extremely hot and everyone has a bad day, but this is not the first time I have run into route staff, especially the ones that have knowledge after a world of covert and what you see on the news and day out it affects me greatly lost people from Covid and when I watched the news so disheartening so I go to my happy place I shop my garden stores. I will never stop there again not the cheapest by any means but have a wonderful large variety but not worth the rudeness there is enough of that going around , Our country and world, but I don’t need to stop at my happy place and feel welcome. I’m sure no big deal. They do a great business. Good luck shoppers. I will miss the beauty of the place, but not the staff.

The display gardens here are top notch! I’ve been visiting for years and most recently with the renovation of the rose garden, it’s like a dream to experience in summer. The Lloyd mixed border is the best in the nation and don’t forget the Blackmore & Langdon begonia house later in the season. There’s always something to inspire you here!

I placed a flower for (3) container gardens on May 14. I had assumed they would be shipped within a few days so that I could get them into pots before we went away for an extended Memorial Day holiday. The plants did not arrive until a full 10-days after my initial order was placed, having them arrive on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend (5/24) when we were already out-of-town.
I did have a neighbor come and open the box and remove the plants. She watered them, but said they did not look healthy. I returned home on Wednesday 5/29 and the plants had not done well over the days we were gone. I was able to get them into pots on Saturday, 6/1. 90% of the plants did not make it.
I had spent over $200 for plants that I thought would be shipped out in a timely fashion, but with the delay in shipping and their arrival 10-days after ordering, the timing could not have been worse. Plus, the condition of the plants upon arrival was less than desirable. I sent two emails to customer service and never received a message back.

Just dealt with customer service on a shipping timing issue for tender plants I ordered(the plants themselves are beautiful). The representative I spoke to could not have been more empathetic or professional. Superb customer service experience.

If you're placing multiple orders at once, be advised: WFF has screwed up my holiday orders three years in a row. I advise placing orders one at a time. They are incapable of processing multiple orders in one call and getting them right.

Ordered gifts in early November and hadn't been shipped by December. Customer service tried to make it all my fault. Service is terrible. Expensive products call for good service and at least an apology. Got neither the gifts not the apology.
