“While I have always had good service at the Watertown, CT post office, I have had some problems trying to call the postal employees there. No one ever answers the phone! I wanted to ask them to hold my mail for me, because my mailbox was crushed by a falling tree during the last storm. I am having a mobility problem, and was hoping I didn't have to go into the post office myself. Guess I have to now.”

“I just want to give a HUGE thank-you for the gracious Post Lady that stopped to help me use her phone to call 911. I had just arrived from Florida and was taking care of my son’s dogs and house when I locked myself out of the house. I only had pajamas on and had been outside for over 2 hours in the cold, She was so kind- stayed there until I talked to the police officer who then was able to contact my son working in NY. She helped me choose a computer and printer that fit my needs as a teacher. She also helped find coupons and discounts to lower the price!”
“use the Watertown store to print documents and projects for work all the time. they always come out great, the store processes the online orders pretty quick & has them ready way before the time given. Biggest downfall of this store is its understaffed and it takes some time to get a print associate to acknowledge you or come over. but other than that, the products always come out good & the clients are always happy!”

I was able to speak to a woman (I unfortunately didn't catch her name.) and Robert, who helped get the package retrieved so my client could pick it up safely! “This is a very vintage post office located just on the Green in Litchfield. There is limited parking in front, but it is shared with other businesses and those right in front of the post office is limited to 15 minutes at a time. Inside, the lighting is very dark, and it doesn't look like it's been redesigned since the 70s. They have a full display of bubble mailers, tape, and boxes. The counter has room for two tellers, and those on duty today were very efficient. They seemed to have a good supply of stamps available. There is some seating, but again.... Think 70s. The post office also has a plaque awarding the location with the Preservation Honor Award in 1983.”

“I had a situation today where the driver dropped off the wrong box after being told the tracking number of the box that needed to be kept. I went to UPS customer care, and Starr was so helpful with the whole situation and assured me that she would do her best to figure out the situation today. After a couple of hours, she called me and informed me that she had the other box and I could pick it up! She was so helpful with the process and getting it all situated. Grateful for her!”
