The store is usually very neat and tidy. All the staff is very helpful and friendly, at least the night staff because that is the only time I usually go. Personally I'm trying to stop shopping at Dollar general and some stores of that nature. But at least I know I can go in there and be treated courteously by the staff.

Wonderful little store very friendly employees i go in here everyday, The employees do not follow you around they are just doing their jobs and we get in the way of where they need to go to put stuff away, Don’t steal and open drinks before paying for them and then leave them a bad review, Its just like the ones with the restroom again i am a regular customer here everyday and something always happens with the restroom when i need to use it because other people cannot respect it, if they are kind enough to let you use it maybe you should clean up after yourself, if you clog it, unclog it, theres a plunger and a brush right by the bowl!! the 2 employees per shift are trying their best, everyone is friendly here and treats you like family, we should treat them and their little store like family as well!

I’ve been coming here pretty often for the past year, never had any complaints, pretty good selection of stuff and good deals, like any dollar general.Now for the 3 deducted stars:I walked in last night with a couple of my friends to get some snacks and drinks. I cracked open a soda can while looking at some snacks, and immediately two employees poke their heads into our aisle, one demanding that I pay for the drink immediately. I told them that I was going to buy other snacks and asked if I could just pay for everything once I had finished looking. Nope. I have to go up right now and drop everything. Mind you these employees have interacted with me countless times on my previous visits.If you care to read this far, on these previous visits with my friends, an employee has happened to be “working” in the same aisle as us while we walk around, as one does when in a store. And I mean EVERY aisle. One worker was “rearranging” paper towels on the shelf right next to us for the whole 10 minutes we were in the aisle. You’re not slick. And we don’t appreciate being followed everywhere we go just because we’re younger.Well done lady in the glasses, you just lost the business of 8 would-be loyal customers.

If you need it in a pinch they have it most likely. It’s amazing how many things are packed into these dollar generals. Prices are good too. Bring a list and see if you can cross off every item.

There is a sign at the register that states "no cash back" Given that many businesses are going cashless, I inquired "sign says no cash back, do I need to use my card? I only have cash" Snarkbaits answer "think about" I did think about it, Snarkbait, you shouldn't work with the public. It was a reasonable question. A reasonable resonse "no ma'am, it means we're not an ATM." You should try that answer instead Snarkbait.

Visiting this store completely reinforced for me the difference between Dollar Store and Dollar General. Dollar Store has TikTok videos made about their inventory. Dollar General is dark, and closer to a miniature Target or Walmart. It's a proper store with rugs, room spray, mayonnaise, frozen food, bread, you name and it's here. They do have some seasonal, and even some small clearance tables. The ambiance is very dark and the aisles are tight. It's a weird fit for the town of Morris. It definitely puts on my conspiracy theory hat; how on earth did this get approved in a town that otherwise seems to embrace supporting local? What makes anyone think shoppers will be so pervasive they need additional parking in the back? The employees were friendly, perhaps a bit understaffed since both were stocking and trying to watch the register. But I think I'd rather go to Target for selection and lighting.

Friendly staff and great selection. My dog Duke loves coming here with me because they know him by name and always make a fuss over him, he gets a treat everytime!

Awful I had to use the bathroom there and it was out of service cause the employee didn't want to clean the bathroom. Mind you I'm pregnant and they refuse to let me use the employee bathroom. The same thing happened to a friend of mine a week before. Now I'm out here and there is a "we will beopening late" sign with no time on it. not much of a convince store if you ask me. This is the only store within walking distance in morris and they have been slipping up alot lately. Not the first time they have decided to close their store out of the blue too

I am a regular customer here, and nobody was being rude to customers the other day, i was in here shopping this lady was walking in front of a pepsi electric pallet jack as they were moving soda around and the worker just asked the lady to go around another way for their own safety and she started flipping out on the employee saying that the other worker was rude, the only rude person here was that customer to the employees. They are assuring your safety, not being rude.
