“Friendliest station in Torrington, also one of the cleanest. The cashier was really awesome and helpful, I Believe his name was Ryan (really tall guy) He was very helpful. I live in NYC and come thru Torrington every now and again. This young man was extremely courteous and friendly every time we stopped in. Thank you....”

“I recently visited the gas station in Thomaston , and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The service was top-notch, the clerk ar the register was friendly and efficient, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I was impressed by the wide range of snacks and drinks available at the best prices in Town. The fuel pumps worked flawlessly, and I didn't have to wait long to fill up my tank. Overall, it was a great experience.
I highly recommend this gas station to anyone in the area. Keep up the excellent work ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I just went there, and the service was on point. I am a regular visitor because they have the best chicken fingers I've ever eaten yet. They are highly addictive to me. Their food is delicious and they are very kind people. I definitely recommend this place to give it a try on their food. You can pump your car with gas and enjoy a warm meal. It's worth it.?”

“Just went in with a question for my "Smart Pay" Application. I was having issues with the "Rewards Feature".

There is two features one to pay through the SmartPay app which draws from either your bank or a debit card AND there is another that just has a rewards card number that they can scan so even if you're paying for cash you still get points for your purchase..

I mainly use cash 90% of the time. But every time the cashier was scanning My rewards card it was saying either invalid card or card not found (can't remember) so basically it wasn't giving me points.

Out of three to four different Cumberland farms locations and probably a total of about 10 employees the young lady at this location on East Main Street in Torrington Connecticut is the only one that had any clue that you are supposed to scan the rewards card PRIOR TO HITTING THE TOTAL BUTTON. So that goes to show that she is good at her job and knowledgeable so they deserve this five-star review.

Not sure what it says about the other locations though ?”

“I always come to this has station if I have to stop in the area. They have a deli inside and always have fresh fruit, antipasto, and sandwiches made ready to go. There gas is always the best price in town and they sell every kind of cigar you can imagine. Very sweet people who work and run the place. Would definitely recommend”

“What has always mattered to me is that I can get in and out quickly and conveniently. They have never disappointed in those accounts. Additionally, I shop at Target often, so it makes for a very convenient place to pick up my prescriptions. Target and the CVS Pharmacy in Target are are generally quite clean and inviting. The area the Pharmacy could improve is friendliness of those behind the counter. They have never been "unfriendly", but they generally give the vibe that they are just there to do there job, & clock-in, clock out. :) Again though, this isn't a deal-breaker for me!”

“One of the greatest cumbys I have ever been to. First time I ever went there I saw a guy od’d in the parking lot. Fire dept made pretty quick work of reviving him, so that’s a plus. I would imagine the staff( who is always absolutely awesome) is given narcan and taught how to use it for the fact that no matter what time of day or night you go there there is always at least 1 or 2 addicts asking for money in the parking lot. They will come right up and bang on your window quite aggressively at times ( hence why I gave 5 stars) never a dull moment over there. I made conversation with the guy digging thru the trash cans looking for returnables. He states that cumbys is the best in town for digging thru trash cans. Last but not least one of my fondest memories was last June, it was early in the morning I was headed in to grab my morning coffee, also in hopes they had some empanadas on the rack, when I turned the corner and out of nowhere there were like 6 youngsters, prolly between 18 and 25. 4 guys 2 girls and pit bull. These weren’t the regular homeless and addicted folks that are normally out there, don’t get me wrong, they were definitely homeless and addicted but I’m pretty sure they were train hoppers. The pitbull lunged at me my first instinct was to kick the dog, but since I love animals way more than people and could never hurt any animal especially a dog, I just relied on the dogs owner to maybe yank the leash back ( big mistake that was lol) So cutie pie doggo got me pretty good on the ankle. Could have been a lot worse. Dogs owner seemed annoyed that I walked down the sidewalk and didn’t do my part by exiting the sidewalk walking around a couple cars that way avoiding the group and the dog. I mean who am I to walk down a cumbys sidewalk. Other than that, make sure you wear shoes, the needles are few, but they are sharp. This has been my experience at south end Cumberland farms, I guess I could go to the one up east Main Street, But south end is always full of surprises”

“Checkers puts "convenience" in "convenience store." A wide selection of drinks, snacks, and household products, not to mention the fried chicken that will destroy your insides. Live in the area, always love to stop by with friends. Werewolf friendly. Highly recommended to anyone passing through Oakville.”

“First off, I don't usually review places, but the deli at this Extra Mart deserves to be acknowledged. Back in the day I would buy a grinder from this place and a diet coke and drive to the State Park and have myself a feast. Now a days I'm usually driving with my wife, who is a fried chicken aficionado, and I can't pass this place because they have the best fried chicken around and she know it.Just this week we were in the area and stopped by, Jeff made us two of the best grinders one could buy in the state, and while he was making them Bobby fried up some chicken thighs and drumsticks that were out of this world.I have no idea why this deli doesn't have all 5 stars, unless people don't like great grinders and the best fried chicken available. Not to mention the staff there has been nothing but friendly and helpful, we stop by every time we're in the area and sometimes we 're just in the area because of this place.”

“This Mobil is conveniently located just off of route 8 in Torrington, Connecticut. The gasoline prices are a little on the high side, but not entirely unreasonable. The area is a little busy, but seems safe. The receipt printed at the pump, which I appreciate. There is a small Patco convenience store with all the usual items you would expect to find. The milk is a little pricey here ($3.49 per gallon). They have diesel fuel here as well. If you need propane and/or kerosene, they have that covered here too. Overall, not a bad place...”

“This is a new gas station on Watertown Ave so it still have the nice clean set up. It has about everything you need for a quick snack or drink. I like that they had the pastries individually wrapped. Looking back before Covid why wasn't this always done anyways?! There were a couple of cashiers behind the counter entertaining themselves so they did not bother to acknowledge my hubs and I, even with no other customers in the stores. There's a 50% off bin that's worth looking through because they had all types of snacks and other things that can be a good find.”

“This is a handy, clean and easy-to-access service station just off Hwy. 8 between Torrington and Waterbury. It's a large stop with plenty of room between pumps (a really important plus), and a decent number of parking places for those who come by for a drink or some candy inside. And inside we've found the employees to be friendly and the stock plentiful. We're partial to some of their drinks including the inexpensive but good coffee. All in all, we've enjoyed good experiences here and use it regularly on trips to and from Waterbury.”
