“wanted to take a moment to write a quick review of this dollar store; it was super clean and the staff could not have been nicer. needed to make a quick run, while heading to the casino, and they had pretty much anything you could think of. BIG SHOUT OUT TO LAURA. she was amazing.”

“Whenever I come to Mohegan Sun for the day, I am always sure to stop in the store. I used to love the incredible selection and amount of unique finds in this store. However recently, my friend and I find that the store has significantly pulled back their selection. The store used to be packed from wall-to-wall with different unique items and now they have really thinned out their selection. There are still cute unique fines and things for each season and holiday, but it is not what it used to be.”
“The staff was so helpful, helped me navigate the store, and found everything I needed, plus the cashier made sure I got my military discount. Will definitely be back.”
“It's a bargain outlet. It's not pretty. But it seems like it has just about any/everything. And the prices are killer. You'll probably have to poke around a bit to find what you're looking for (if they have it), but in doing so you'll probably find something you didn't know you needed. Yes it's adventure shopping and it's fun, and the prices are incredible!”
“Totally random stuff in this place from radios and speakers for your car to floral and wood decorations for your home. Very quiet place that's kept clean. Cute little cards for an array of occasions. Everything seemed reasonably priced and my husband left with a wiring harness that he wasn't even looking for.”

“When I heard this was going to be a Dollar General I was so disappointed. I thought, "Who needs another one??" But now I am so glad it's here! I'm in there several times a week. Prices are very good and selection is fantastic. Last night I picked up some first aid stuff that I would have driven to Walmart for because it would have cost me a lot more at Walgreens or CVS. I loved not having to get on 95. They even have a good selection of grocery items. And as a bonus, the staff is always nice. So glad this store is in town!”
“Very nice newer store located in its own area. If I had one complaint it would be when you are coming from the west and need to make a left turn into the drive area to the parking lot. There is no turn signal and you are on a single lane road. A plus it's that there is a spacious parking area. Staff were nice, and greeted us when we came in. Store was well stocked and everything clearly marked as far as pricing.”
“A good store to visit. Has clothes men and women's. Food home needs animal accessories home goods curtains rugs gardening supplies beach supplies and etc. A good place to roam around. Have fun. Now fresh plants soil and garden tools.”

“Cereal and canned goods are more expensive than the grocery stores since they know this area is a food desert. The sizes are smaller than the ones found up the road at Stop and Shop. The real reason to come here is for cheap Chinese products that the Walmart would have marked up. It's a dollar general, and nothing special.”

“First time here. Needed a marker for some renovations. Didn’t want to have to go all the way to Home Depot. Took a chance and came in here.Fortunately found a marker I could use. Picked it up quickly went to the cashier. She was super nice and efficient. Prices were excellent. Was in and out.”

“Just what I needed and then some things I was thinking about buying but I didn't know to look for. Walked in and there they were right as you walk in. Saved me searching time driving around SE CT. Also a fair price. Heck they still sell Apple Cider Vinegar. Great to lower blood sugars for Diabetics. Going to go back there to pickup some outdoor entrance mats and some rubber/silicone mats to stand on while working on hard concrete floors all day.”
“First of all let me start by saying I’m a white choclate lover !!!!! I usually go to the Dollar General store on Colman Street in New London ct. because they usually have the White chocolate M&Ms which I am a fan of !! Well the other day I went into this location to get my candy and couldn’t find them anywhere ?! So I asked the clerk who always helps me Caroline if they are out ? She dropped what she was doing and looked for them she finally spotted them behind the counter I was one happy customer!! Now Caroline went above and beyond for a customer which makes her AWESOME in my book !! Also the cashier Lauren was so helpful too”
“I will say this much.."" the apple ? doesn't fall from their tree""! Let me explain...I went to find a mattress for a friend of mine and was greeted like a true human being and not just a customer to make a few bucks from, by a very pleasant young man. He went above and beyond for me to be sure that I was able to get what I came for within my budget and not many places do that anymore. If they know you only have a small a small amount of money, they pretty much rush you out the door. This young man took his time, and made me feel comfortable from the the time I walked in until the time I left. Turns out, he is the owners son, Ryan.Never have I had any bad experiences with ANYONE that works there, quality of everything I've bought has been perfect, and I will not shop anywhere else.It's not just amazing furniture, it's also amazing staff, right down to the owners very own son!Thank you Ryan....and your dad for making sure she has a mattress to come home to”

“Here's the major issue, each time I enter this store to buy some baking soda (that is all I ever get at the Dollar General) the same weird male in a black shirt will come to the register (even if someone else is actively on the register, that person will be removed) and the same strange male will insist on checking out my items. SUPER WEIRD. The last time I was in the store about 1.5 weeks ago in January of 2022, there was only one person on the register. A white girl, who scoffed and scowled at me as I walked into the store and made my way to the isle I needed. Upon checking out, the girl turned off her register lights (as I placed my items at the register) the creepy male in the black shirt rushed over to a different register and she claimed that I "had" to go over to the creepy guy to get checked out, again (while laughing and smirking, as though redirecting me to the same creepy checkout guy, every time I shop at this location, is some sort of joke). Obviously, I won't be back to this store EVER but if someone else out there notices this same creepy, PREDATORY behavior while trying to quietly shop, 1.) NO, YOU'RE NOT IMAGINING IT. I notice this happening every single time I go to this location and it's most likely happening to other women and girl shoppers, too + 2.) YES, it is CREEPY, WRONG AND PREDATORY. Do take your buisness somewhere where you can peacefully shop without being preyed upon by some CREEP! I was going to properly withdraw my support by returning the items I purchased that day (I should have left them at the register the MOMENT the rude cashier tried to redirect me to that creep again; I know”
