“Rays Auto Body is without question the best I have ever used for automobile body repair. Ray has one overriding principle that he applies to his business; the customer is always number one. That being said once the vehicle is in Ray’s possession he takes care of absolutely every detail; from negotiation with insurance company representatives to making sure that your vehicle is repaired properly. I note in looking at various reviews of other customers that Ray receives 5 stars from all but one customer who rates his business at a 4 star review. For that reason I’m giving Ray an unsolicited review of 6 stars so his average is now 5 stars for over 40 different customer reviews.”

“We had D’Addario Collision repair the rear bumper on our A4 after someone backed into it. They did a phenomenal job on the repair! Our biggest concern going into the repair was their ability to color match the new bumper with the rest of the car’s paint. You can’t even tell that the bumper was repaired! Steve was very helpful throughout the entire process. Before the repair, he went through the various options we had to go about repairing the damage; explaining the pros and cons of each. He quoted each option to give us a clear understanding of what the numbers looked like. During the repair, he made sure to communicate any updates. “The best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Long story short was in a small isolated accident. My car needed a two tire replacement, and an alignment. Got it taken care of in Danbury but the mechanic in Danbury returned my car with more damage. My insurance already paid a pretty penny and the guys in Danbury were going to charge me an arm and leg for a vacuum pump replacement. I tell my story to Bryan. Nice guy. He takes a look at it. Says to give him two weeks. Calls me back in a week tells me the price and it’s a fraction of the price. I give him the go ahead. I get my car back, he gives it an oil change and changes my latch on the trunk so it can close properly! Didn’t ask for it but I mentioned it. Like I said real nice guy. Will not go to anyone else. There wasn’t this ritual money haggle dance.. all business and straight forward. Super professional. I wish I went to them first. If you’re looking for a place with integrity while working on your machine. This is the spot. Trust me you won’t regret it. I’d give these guys a 10 star if I could.”

“Even though I don't plan on being hit again or getting into any car accidents, well none of us really do... but if it happened I would take my car to Carl Massafra's Auto body. Someone hit my car, ripped my bumper, damaged my fender and headlight. I didn't know where to go for repairs, so I asked my amazing mechanic. They referred me to here. That's always a good sign when your business is the reference of people in your industry! Went in. Got an estimate. Straight forward, simple, they are not scammers, nor begging for your business. They are too busy to play around. A few days later I dropped my car off. They didn't take long. They are Caring and have Excellent communication. Picked my car up and it's back to perfection!!! Even though I don't plan on using Auto Body services too often, maybe I'll see what other services they do offer lol. They did my baby right!!! “I purchased a zippy, red car via Carvana that I was all too excited to drive. Unfortunately, the gentleman who delivered my car was also excited to drive my zippy, red car. He was SO excited that he managed ding...something, leaving an ugly scratch on the car's bumper. I went to Yelp for quotes because I was unable to find a local repair shop who could fix this damage in a timely manner. Stratford Collision responded to my request within minutes with a VERY reasonable quote. When I dropped off my car, the guys in the shop were courteous (which isn't always the case). My car was repaired within days (not weeks) and they did an amazing job. When I picked up my car, it looked like the scratch had never happened. If you're looking for an honest body shop that does exceptionally good work, these are your guys.”

“Shocks auto body is the best place hands-down. I have used them two times and the first time was because A 60 foot tree landed on my car and my husband’s car and totaled my car out. But they were able to fix my car and did they do a great job that was in 2008 since then I had to use them again because of in automobile accident recently. And my car was given back to me like new. They do a great job on my car and my husband‘s car. I would recommend them for anybody. They are super friendly and the owner greets you. I do recommend this company 100%.”

They had to do some extensive additional welding on the undercarriage in order to put new runningboards on.Overall I would tell you it’s a small family shop. You could talk with Tom and he is a reasonable person.”
