We replaced our firepit previously purchased at Superior Hearth with a propane fire table for the convenience of using propane. The fire table was the right size and style we were looking for. So far we are happy with the quality and performance. The fire table was all put together when we picked it up at the nearby warehouse.

Our sales lady, Robin, was excellent. She was very helpful finding us the fire table and accessories we wanted. It was delivered promptly and courteously by the delivery team. Very happy with this purchase.

I recently had my propane gas fireplace converted to an electrical fireplace. Everyone I dealt with at Superior Hearth and Spas, from Robin the sales associate to the installers, at the Southington location were excellent. Very kind and professional people to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Absolute trainwreck from start to finish... if we could ever finish. Built our home a year ago and have had nothing but miscommunication, lack of support/response, and no accountability since the beginning. The wrong fireplaces were ordered/installed, the finishes are always out of stock, and now that we need repairs and support, our warranty covers nothing. I can get past loopholes in a warranty, but on top of all that, it takes weeks to get a reply for something I am paying for out of pocket. The office staff is disjointed and have not responded to multiple messages, we are constantly following up with no reply. Even their techs that have come to the house have been so disconnected from the office, that they have no idea what they're supposed to be there for when they show up. You can get good products for your home somewhere else where they may actually have a clue or care... so go to THAT place instead! I certainly will be from now on.

We purchased a Napoleon grill from Superior a few years ago. Long story short we had to switch to propane and went back to purchase another Napoleon from Superior. We shopped around and found a better price at Lowe’s, but wanted to give Superior a chance to at least match the price. Robin seemed annoyed when I asked to match the price/assembly and delivery price. She ended up getting it approve so we proceeded. She also seemed annoyed when we asked to have the delivery team put the grill onto the deck. We had another grill that needed to come down the stairs. She had another annoyed reaction to that request so I didn’t even pursue that.
Meanwhile she said that she needed a pic of the deck and she would get back to me on delivery. I sent her the pic that day. She said delivery was probably going to be Tues. No response nor communication from Robin. Tuesday morning, at 7am, I emailed her asking what time the delivery would be. She responded at 814 by email indicating a window. They arrived at 1014. I was working and did not see the email until after they arrived. Most companies in my experience call the day before with a window so that the customer would be ready. Not Superior.
We called 10 minutes after the delivery ppl left bc my spouse was working at home and was in a meeting. At that time Robin indicated that they cannot come back, that they will only redeliver to the driveway and we would have to pay $200 extra for delivery.!!!! After we spoke to the manager he agreed to a lower delivery fee. But he also seemed annoyed.
Customer service is lacking here. We are repeat customer. We are also in the market for a hot tub. We love to support small business, but this small business has lost us. Sorry do better!!
Meanwhile, Lowe’s would have had the same price and had NO issues with assembly, delivery or bringing down the old grill for us. Lessons learned.

Not happy with superior. Bought a Vermont castings dauntless stove ( don’t buy one! ) in 2020. Superior site says they service what they sell. Not true I suppose if under warrantee they might but I have gone to them 3 times and each time just after warrantee was up- really didn’t want to know anything . Rest assured when I buy a hot tub soon it won’t be from superior! You are on your own!

After visiting two other stove establishments in Southington we decided to try Superior.Our expectations were not very high after the lack of service and attention we were given in both of the other businesses that we visited.Happy to share absolutely everything about our experience was truly SUPERIOR.Being acknowledged, greeted and educated should not be a lot to ask for when you visit establishments that specialize in very specific product.We were approached with a smile and a willingness to help by associate named Robin.She was able to educate us and answer the many questions that we had.We are in the market for two separate heating units.Will be back to purchase & share with others only place to go.Beautiful showroom & willingness to actually assist the customer in the store.

Bought a nice wood stove 2 years ago and Superior true to their name has been great throughout. They helped me select the appropriate unit without pressure. I have since had a couple of issues to work through and Robin and the tech team have been absolutely amazing troubleshooting the problems and educating me with tips and suggestions to ensure our house will be well heated for years to come. They even came out to the house to resolve the issues in a very timely fashion. To be clear I have been working with wood fires for over 40 years and still don’t have all the answers but I’m glad to have a team like this to turn to. I can’t recommend them enough.
