Instructors were great, but the course was super disorganized. We did not learn how to swim with our head under the water until the last class. After informing, I was offered the chance to retake the course, but couldn’t afford to spend more $ and wasn’t fitting with my schedule. Been in contact with them, but stopped hearing back after a while. Spent $200 on swimming classes, so I’m pretty disappointed :(

We’ve had a wonderful experience so far! I had called inquiring about the summer camp for our twins who are 6, the person who I spoke with was knowledgeable and kind, answered all my questions. We got a family membership, signed our kids up for most of the summer camp. They had their first day and LOVED it! I did an exercise class as well and it was great. The facility is well kept, especially the hallway to the pool and locker room, there is always someone mopping. We also appreciate the diversity in the staff that has been hired from the pool to the front desk. All around a wonderful place!

Is there a reason why they have low ratings, the reception staff at the front desk are rude and arrogant, is this how the image of YMCA is shown to everyone? It's so disappointing.

The Woodruff Family YMCA offers great programs, a safety-first swimming experience for kids and people of all ages, social connections so people feel connected to others, and a safety net for people in the community who need food security, child care, health guidance, and more.

The facility is amazingly well maintained. The pool is super clean . My daughter goes to their pre K program and she loves . We are very happy with her development.I am grateful that two friends recommended their program, their kids love Miss Sue and Miss Bettie and so does my daughter. She is 4 year old she’s learning numbers, letters, and much more. The kids have in class included with the Pre k program . The price is very affordable compared with other places I visited near by .You don’t need to be YMCA affiliated to have your kid attend the pre k, but I definitely recommend because the place is great. The employees always make us feel welcomed and appreciated.

We had an incident with the female who was working at the front desk earlier today around 5pm. She was disrespectful and racist, there was another gentleman who was more than willing to help but this girl was just plain rude. If you hate your job, quit. If you’re having a bad day, it certainly isn’t our fault. Get better employees because ultimately this affects your business. I’ll keep commenting and reporting. Don’t worry, I know you deleted my prior review. I’ll keep screenshooting and reposting as often as I have to.Blonde long hair, a little on the heavy side. Just rude. What makes you better?!

It’s beautiful and clean but BUT it’s so so so annoying to make appointments to swim and then when you do you only have a half hour. It takes longer then that to be in the changing room after! Who swims for a half hour?? Oh and if there’s any lightning even though it’s indoors they close the pool. You can’t pay any amount of money to bring a non member. Oh yeah and if your child isn’t 12 they can’t use any equipment upstairs except basically the treadmill area stuff. But they don’t tell you that until your kid goes to use it.

Most the time when I give the call to take appointment for swimming with my family the answer is pool is full
And I a am agree with this people no more child watch
Most of my friends quit the YMCA for this reason because it’s not a joyful place for family
I always give call and asked about child watch no answer
The reason I stayed on YMCA because my kids have swimming classes
I wish they can fix this problem it’s so crazy now almost 3 years nothing comes back I think I am so patient

I love it here been going all my life and it has changed dramatically do not send your children to the YMCA camp it is poorly managed the counselors are lazy and there's a ton of bullying they choose not to do anything about it I even pointed out a half naked little girl and they did nothing nothing do not send your children

I am agreeing with you is so bad I can’t go to the GYM because no more child watchMore than 3 years they don’t open child watches that mean if you are a mom you can’t come to the GYMAlso it’s so complicated if you want to enjoy swimming with your family you need to take appointment and always it’s busyI felt not comfortable I am. Think to move to other places
