My niece went here to put gas and her car broke down right after. I took the car to a garage and they told me there was bad gas in my car. Gas mixed with water. Stay away from this gas station

No one who works here cares enough to do the bare minimum, which is to keep the items stocked! If something sells out, they don't order new stock for weeks! Whole cooler rows left empty for weeks and weeks , I recommend you skip this Wheels. Employees here are probably not paid enough so they don't go above and beyond.

They were a gulf station and the credit card for gulf is 18% but they just switched to a Citgo. They didn't tell the customers at all about the change coming so we can get prepared by getting a different card! So, I went to pump not realizing the Citgo sheet they hung over the sign. I am a regular customer too. I went in and chose not buy gas and left. The Citgo card is good on rewards but has an interest rate of almost 30%. It was so convenient but I can now drive a bit further so I don't need to get another card.

Typically I go there in the AM to get coffee but in the last two days I have gotten a very negative attitude from two of the female workers because they didn't have the coffee put out and I asked if they could put some out...don't drink decaf. Additionally, the milk container was empty as was the 1/2 and 1/2. I noted that they needed milk and another patron said yes and half and half. The girl behind the register asked someone in the back office to come out and she snapped and said the half and half is full on the left side! Meaning only one was full...two were empty. she finally came out and put out the milk and cream. The process to change these proved to be quite cumbersome for her. Today when I asked a girl cooking eggs to please put some regular coffee out, she had a very negative attitude. In the past I have had great experiences with Tim and some of the others. Recently I've noticed the bad attitudes of at least 3 female workers there. the woman with the long braid who usually cooks is the very best....always smiling and no attitude. Unfortunately, I spend at least $30 a week if not more there and really don't appreciate the poor service and attitude. Probably going to go up to Bridgeport avenue where the coffee is .99 and the attitude is great!

Their gas pumps are always getting hijacked by scammers skimming credit cards and management will do nothing about it except tell you to call the police and it's not their problem. Isn't it their problem if they're selling you gas? With the rotary out in front it can be difficult at times to come and go.

Don't listen to these bitter reviews. Great customer service, great selection of snacks and drinks, and some of the best prices in town!

I'm beyond disgusted with Wheels/Gulf at the corner of Milford Point Road and Naugatuck. It's been my local go-to station until recently when one of their nozzles malfunctioned and sprayed myself and my car with gasoline. The bottom line is I'm left dealing with small minded business policies and customer service amateurs. Aside from the hours it took me to deal with the aftermath of being soaked in gas, I discovered that gasoline is not always safe to launder. With over $500 in ski clothes and boots ruined, the company has declined to replace a thing and is sticking to an offer to pay for dry cleaning only. Ski pants with water proofing cannot be dry cleaned nor can my boots. I even offered a compromise to just replace the pants and boots - still declined. Even when they have gift cards for gasoline at their disposal - which I know is still a cost - but, foolishly, nothing else was offered. I don't know if it's GULF OIL or it's it's Wheels the convenience store, but either way - it's a huge unnecessary stain on their business for me. Why go there when you can go somewhere else anyway? You'd think they'd be smart enough to realize that. One star because they don't have a negative star option.

Was called " grimey" for buying scratch offs by the young lady behind the counter. If the rolls we're reversed I'm sure things would be much bigger... Poor job by Wheels having someone like this representing them....

Nice looking newer gas station. They have a small deli inside and a typical gas station store with snacks and small items for purchase. Gas prices stay within reason and they also offer propane tank refills.

I wish there was a way to put 0 stars, the pumps are too close to the parking spots and when people who don't understand that park tol far up and make it IMPOSSIBLE to back out. Worst design ever, the old sunoco was a million times better

I don't remember how the gas tasted so I cant give a fully honest review.
