My recent experience at Van Wilgen's in Milford was quite positive. I really appreciated Natalie ("the woman with the tattoos") taking the time to help me decide which flowers to buy and then offer her opinion on how to arrange them in my garden. I hope Van Wilgen's pays her what she's worth.

Always been happy visiting to nursery in town. Consistent, friendly staff a pleasure to talk to and get advice or share landscape ideas with. The selection is very good, quality of plants are good and pricing fair. I find myself coming here at least once a week from the spring through fall, sometimes just to look around and see what's new.

A super cute little plant paradise amongst the hustle and the bustle of the Post Rd. There were a few interesting plants that would not be available elsewhere. I enjoyed my visit.

Rich is always very helpful. They have a good variety for a small location. All of the perennials and annuals are very healthy!

Love shopping here in Milford. Was just looking for stuff. Weather is shifty. Will go back in 2 weeks. EVERYONE is always very friendly and super helpful.

My wife and I do not have green thumbs but we were hoping van wilgen's experts would helps us and they sure did. Megan assisted us(milford store).She was personable,friendly and most of all knowledgeable and informative.We purchases a beautiful perineal flowering plant,and fertilizer, etc. We would definitely be back.

They have great selection of plants , shrubs and any other things you are looking for. They great you at the entrance and tell you where everything is and assist you with what you need.

I love Van Wilgen's. It is a great garden shop. The main one in north branford is beautiful and the smaller one in Milford is great for convenience.

I purchased three plants two tomatoes and one pepper plant. The pepper plant was infested with aphids and am currently battling an infestation that has travelled to my other plants. I am none too happy about the aphids attacking my herbs and pepper plant.
