Finally cooled off enough to leave a review. Don't go here! Left my clock there a year knowing full well Craig was to have surgery & it would be a while until he got to it. I patiently waited over a year, understanding owner was having some surgeries. After a year went by, & a 1/2 dozen unreturned phone calls, I finally connected & brought the clock home but it didnt work!!!
It STILL doesn't work despite countless calls & 2 home visits to fix it. Total rip off. I wouldnt have cared of I waited TWO years if the clock was fixed! Took my $500, didn't fix my clock after having it more than a year, & because of the amount of time that went by CC company wouldn't refund my $. Now its a conversation piece when people come to visit & ask about the non working clock!

We brought our cuckoo clock to the store for repair and he fixed it without a problem! Then when the cuckoo would go off at the wrong time, he helped us figure out how to fix it! Great service.

Craig arrived today right on time. Did the work promptly. Patiently returned all my questions and was gone in an hour, He charged exactly what he quoted on the phone. (Less than a more local clock repair shop.) This is the second time I've used Swinging Pendulum. I couldn't be more satisfied. Reading the negative reviews could not be more different than my experiences.

We bought in our clock a little over a week ago, it was not keeping accurate time. The owner said he had to see if he could get parts since the clock was older. We kept calling, leaving messages since we never heard any status. We finally got in touch with the owner today live and at first he seemed like he wasn’t familiar with us. After we went over the whole story we found out he hadn’t done any work yet. Out of frustration we went to pick up the clock today. Very frustrating! Sad to say but I’d never recommend Swinging Pendulum.

My Pendulum clock was broken for more than 10 years. I brought it in for assessment and left it to be repaired. I received it back about 2 weeks later and brought it home. It was like brand new! 2 days later I had an unrelated issue with the clock and he came right out to my home and fixed the issue within 2 hours of my call. I have been very pleased with the work, and I'm thrilled to have my clock in perfect working order. Thank you!!!!

I brought my cuckoo clock to him on 2/1/2020. He promptly sent the clock out to have the wooden face repaired that was damaged by another clock company ***** ** *********** *** then after that nothing. I paid him up front $523.40. Yes we had the pandemic, however, after he was able to reopen again, I still never got it back. I got it back In mid October 1, 2023. A few days ago I called him. This was my first chance to hang the clock and it wasn't working. He told me what to do to correctly set it up which it is working. He was calling me insensitive, that during these years he had been \

Four months ago my wife brought a school house clock in because it was not chiming any longer, although it was keeping time. The owner said he would have to order a “special hard to get spring” and charged her $380.00 payable up front. This should have sent up a flag because generally a fair deposit should have been all required. Of course after recently ( which she should have done first) reading several negative reviews i can understand why he demands payment up front.as seen in other reviews after four plus months, she picked up clock, brought it home , hung in same place, and “Suprise”not only did it not chime, but would run for five hours and stop. When i check the inside of the clock, it appears that what was done, was that a newmechanism similar to the ones you see in craft stores you can purchase to make your own clock was put in.My wife does not remember getting any paperwork and of course the time limit for charge back is past hmm, four months and oh yes , she paid in advance. Of course hearing about how he reacted to others that complained about his work , i thought it best if i did not confront him about this.We will eat the $380.00( buyer beware ) and she will chalk it up to lesson learned. We found a shop that will look at and get the clock working again and only if we are satisfied will he charge us for his time and parts if any.We are not accusing Swingingpendulum ,of anything illegal, just of the poor work and services afforded my wife.I only gave a one star because it would not except the review if i did not. No stars from us

He has my cuckoo clock since 2/1/2020. I keep getting stalled. This clock is an authentic German Black Forest hunters cuckoo clock with an 8 day movement with two tunes of music that alternate every 1/2 hour and 4 dancing couples. I brought everything he told me to bring him. He has not only the clock containing all the mechanisms but also the 3 cast iron weights and the pendulum. The only part I have in my possession is the top mantel ornamental piece with the deer head and two wooden rifles. Also on my clock the animals are upside down following the hunt but he said that PETA objected to animals being depicted dead and that is why on newer clocks the animals appear as alive. This is why I opted to have it repaired. I purchased it brand new circa 1980s. When I brought it to him he required that I pay him $526.43. He then sent it out to have the wood on the face repaired and he said it came out beautifully which I have never seen. Then says I owe him $186 for this so if the cost of the repair is $526.43 and he chooses to have someone else do some of the repairs then why isn't this included in the $526.43? He also told me when I brought it in I need to have it cleaned every 5 years. He now has my clock for 3 years 4 months and 21 days. On two occasions when I spoke to him he promised to have the clock done by Friday of the same week. On two other times I talked to him he got sarcastic and said you can't do anything because you do not have your receipt. I said yes I do because I do have my receipt. In fact in a recent voicemail I left specific information that is on my receipt dated 2/1/2020. He has continually blamed the pandemic which should not have been an issue since it would have been repaired way before the pandemic. The last time I spoke to him was christmas week December 2022. He said he was still working on it. I recently left him a voicemail telling him that if I do not hear from you I will write a yelp and google review. He did not contact me so here is my review.
