Don’t sell live animals if you can’t take care of them through out the day . I’m not trying to be rude but that is a plain fact . First time I’ve walked in and the last time I’ve walked in . First glance thought it was going to okay looked new and must “ up to updated care” . As I am walking through I stop by the chameleon noticed the one on top might have burns on him while the other one on the bottom tank lay dead on the substrate. When I told an employee her response was she hadn’t been there in two days . Which is fine everyone deserves a life outside their job . BUT MAKE SURE SOMEONE IS THERE TO KEEP LIVE ANIMALS ACTUALLY ALIVE . Now substrate isn’t even recommended for chameleon because it gets stuck on their tongues when they catch bugs . How did this baby chameleon die ? By choking on substrate that didn’t need to be there . Absolutely preventable and hold the manager / owner / who ever . That baby chameleon didn’t deserve to die its glass cage with little air flow while who knows how many people walked by and did nothing . If you can’t provide them care don’t be responsible for them . If you ever decide to purchase a chameleon DONT ever go to one of the stores …. Chameleons require proper UVB heat and supplements in their diet . And don’t keep them in glass. PLEASE DO RESEARCH and Petco shame on you

Made a grooming appointment for my dog three weeks in advance then upon arrival I got told they won’t groom him because he’s too big. Disappointing experience wouldn’t expect “big dog” discrimination from PetCo, don’t suggest.

I would like to thank Colin ( Dog Trainer). We are participating in a dog training class with Colin and he has been going above and beyond helping us with our rescue dog Lavender. Colin deserves an A+ for his training and teaching skills. The staff and customers at Petco are very helpful and kind.
