Coming from a person who's had more then a year experience working here.. please don't send spend your money on this facility. Not saying it's an overall horrible place but even for a daycare that charges more then what they pay their workers, there's definitely happened more bad things here then good. If I could rate working here 0 stars I would but I can't unfortunately. The infant rooms are a solid 9.5/10 but from the pre toddler rooms that call each other names and argue in the rooms in front of babies to toddler 1's where the woman gossip about how wasted they're going to get on the weekends to toddler 2's which fairly have caring enough staff but some temporary staff that go into that room never clean. Two's ? Good Lord.. don't even get me started. One of the leads in that room currently talks to the kids worst then if they were prisoners poor babies. Pre School is also a fairly well staffed room but Pre-K? The lead goes from room to room talking junk about each room to other rooms as if they cared, talks junk about the boss just talk junk about the staff to the boss, she's okay with the kids, just wished she didn't speak so explicitly in front of them. But from kids fingers being cut, to kids getting stitches in their eyebrows to the Director arguing with parents over brightwheel and sending out COVID payments just to get them returned from the banks because they didn't take off "taxes" and sending them back into the accounts of the staff is crazy. And let's not forget how 75% of the staff, take drugs definitely not off the clock :) Hopefully Gina starts making better choices on how she hires people or at least not hire the same kind of people in the new daycare she has in Shelton. P.S. Gina, there's still sheet rock falling off behind some shelves in a couple classrooms if you happen to notice which I'm sure you haven't which was supposed to be resolved the week that you closed in August where you barely did any adjustments to the classrooms.

No complaints. Great school. My twins go there for pre school. They love it. Teachers and staff are very kind and friendly. We are pleased with the way this school has made my twins Excell since they've started a month ago. I would highly recommend enrollinh your child/children here. Gina, the owner is a sweetheart. They are on top of everything and someone is always available to speak with . HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONCE UPON A TIME DEVELOPMENT CENTER!

This daycare is absolutely fabulous. Gina, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, not only about child development in general but also about each individual child that attends her center. She is honest and trustworthy. The staff is enthusiastic, attentive, and they take wonderful care of the children in their rooms. The curriculum is age-appropriate, fun and creative. Gina is very communicative and will give you her time if you have a question, big or small. The center's reaction to COVID was better than could ever have been expected, keeping the children's safety in mind 100% of the time while being open and communicative with parents. I highly recommend this daycare to all parents- they will exceed your expectations in every way and make you thankful everyday that your child is a student there.

I have had nothing but an amazing experience since switching my kids here. I wish I had found them sooner! All the teachers are amazing! The office staff are always so kind, you feel like you’re a part of the family! It is an amazing feeling when your kids are happy to come to “school” every day and you know they are being taken care of just as well as you would care for them!

We just signed our son up recently with OUAT and what mattered most to me was that they took the time to get to know us as a family and listened to all of our concerns and expectations first. Gina was very thorough in explaining everything and I really liked the warm, welcoming, family centered environment in comparison to the place we previously had our son at. I’m so glad we found them and they had a spot available!

Once Upon A Time is an amazing place I’m happy to have the privilege to send my son and soon my second that is on the way.The provide a full list of activities each day, pictures of my son participating, as well as cameras that are always on so I can peek in on my child.Everyone is friendly and happy. Speaking to other parents my age that go to other daycares and get paper or no reports at all I appreciate more all they do.

I've had two daughters in OUAT since 2018. My oldest will be 5 years old soon, and she started here as a 5 month old baby. As a new parent, it's so hard leaving your babies in someone else's care. However OUAT staff has taken such amazing care of my children, fostered their growth and development, and given them an amazing start! I recommend them wholeheartedly!

We love OUAT! Our son has been attending part time since he was 8 months old. We really enjoy the open communication with staff, and the care they give our son.

Excellent Care and Staff. I feel safe with my children going here and have an added cushion of being able to see how my little ones are doing throughout their day. I’m pleased with the quality of Care given by OUAT.

I was once a worker the over work their staff. Gina is incredibly rude. Fights break out between staff and yes I mean physical while children are in the room and it's a horrible place not only to work but to send your children they don't believe in not yelling they yell at the kids all the time and it isn't okay

My only regret is not signing my son up earlier for Once Upon a Time. He was at another daycare (CCCD now Milestones) for 4 years and when he turned 5, they just couldn't accomodate him in a room that also had 3 year olds. When I called Once Upon a Time and spoke with the director, Gina, she was completely understanding of our situation and took my son into the preschool program right away. She explained that 3 year olds and 5 year olds should not be in a class together. My son learned more from Once upon a time in a few short months than he did in the other daycare in 2 years. Gina and her staff are kind and caring people and highly recommend Once upon a time. The graduation was adorable and Gina made this a very memorable experience.
