Moving here was one of the best decisions I made in the last 10 years... Milford Harbor is an outstanding place to live and the management has put together an top-of-the-line team to make every aspect of living here the best that it can be. The following true story is a reflection of the management and maintenance teams of Metro Start Properties. Late after dinner on a Sunday Evening I drilled a hole in a wall in my apartment to hang some shelves and accidently hit a water pipe. When I heard the sound of water rushing out I freaked out and panicked! There was a magnet sticker on the refrigerator with emergency contact information, I called the number and within 3 rings a qualified person answered the phone and knew exactly what to do to help me shut off the water. Within an hour a Maintenance person was at my door with a shop vac to clean up the water in my apartment and a whole other clean up package for the apartment below me. In these types of emergency situations time is of the essence. Every second in response time counts when water is bursting from a pipe and your ability to control damage and the cost of this accident is critically tied to the timeliness of execution. After the problem was contained, I wanted to tip this person for the outstanding job they did, leaving their family and coming in late on a Sunday Night to help fix this problem. When I extended my hand to tip this person he pulled his arms back and said that " I did not need to tip him because he was Just Doing His Job" I thought to my self ? Who does or says these things any more? If this guy did not pick up the phone when he did the cost and the damage to my apartment and to others in the building could have bene way out of control & fast. I am grateful to this team for a job well done and for setting a benchmark example of what great service looks like in a world that sometimes forgets that that looks like? If you want to live in a place that you can feel safe and secure, Metro Start Apartment would be a good choice.

Ted, the maintenance leader of all metro properties, is such a pleasure to work with. He truly cares about his work and makes sure you are completely satisfied with the job before he closes it out. I can’t say enough great things about Ted.

5/5 stars. I had a very complicated move as I am a work transfer from NYC with a short turnaround time to move and unfortunately did not take time off work to find my new home. Colleen and David guided me confidently, especially David responded swiftly to answer my million of questions and did so adjusting to my crazy schedule so that I had answers when I needed. I really loved the apartments at first sight and the level of customer service made my decision a no brainer. I'm lucky it worked out and and I'm really excited to start the new adventure.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Metro Star’s furnished apartment. Dave met with me at check in time, showed me the one and outs of the complex, and went above and beyond! I would highly recommend staying with themIf you are in the area looking for somewhere clean, quiet and safe. Great town to walk around in as well.

Absolutely beautiful property/apartments. Also, can’t beat the location downtown. Working with property management has been a pleasure as well, especially Paris who has been very proactive in ensuring my experience here is wonderful. Also, David in maintenance is excellent as well. This whole company really goes above and beyond!

Had to change my review since relocating. Maintenance is still excellent and professional, I have nothing but good things to say about them whenever we had issuesProsGreat location near the train stationVery nice apartments with modern look, tall ceilings, and well painted.ConsCarefully read your lease agreements. These people will charge you a small fortune to end your lease prematurely, then they will charge you 25$ for every tiny hole in the wall (for hanging canvas/pictures) that will be fixed when the apartment is repainted. They will tell you that you aren’t allowed to use the elevator for moving furniture but also have the elevator past due for maintenance. There are almost no amenities besides location for the 121 W main St. A small gym and a fairly sized parking lot. That’s it.Smoke alarms right in the kitchen will go off if you even slightly burn toast.

My husband and I love Metro 121 so far! The modern, yet cozy finishes are great! We were attracted to the smaller community & how close it is to downtown! Our two miniature dachshunds love it too!We worked with Tatiana when touring and closing on our apartment. She was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable!

I've lived at Metro 121 for over 6 months now, and there are definitely pros and cons. The parking situation is certainly not ideal-- I'm not sure if it's that they made the spaces too small or if people have just acclimated to a mindset of not parking within the lines, but I often fear my car getting dinged due to how closely we have to park together. No assigned parking, either. The pet rent is an initial $500 deposit then $50/mo per pet (max 2) which for my two cats seems like too much. It's close to 15 and pretty quiet which is nice, but also the fire alarms are very sensitive, there's no garbage disposal, the sink head does not detach but you are unable to rinse the entire bottom of the sink just swiveling it. Very small bathroom with limited storage. The maintenance team is great, super responsive and very friendly. My absolute biggest issue is the lack of windows. My apartment has two east-facing windows, probably 4 ft tall and 2 ft wide each, so very limited natural light coming in, and no balcony/outside space. It's a small apartment complex, only two floors, but that also means that the "gym" is very tiny-- two treadmills and an elliptical, though of the 3 only one treadmill is actually usable, one pair of 10 or 12 lb dumbbells and a multi-use machine. No other outdoor space. New appliances, nice grey/silver tone. Overall, it does the job

The worst experience I have ever had in speaking with leasing agents. They immediately questioned my ability to be able to afford an apartment here, and by the way , if you are a student or plan to go back to school for any reason, don't bother. They can end your lease as they have a policy of not renting to undergraduate students of any age. I spoke with 3 different people, including the leasing manager...very condescending and judge all around.
