If I could give Jeffrey Whitman zero stars at Stevens Ford of Milford I would. I am in the process of closing out my current lease on my Ford Explorer ST (fully loaded, 24k miles, perfect condition). I have been told by numerous people that my car is worth much more than the 29k buyout price and dealers would be will buy it from me at its current value due to the increased demand for used cars and I would leave with the equity. I asked for a trade evaluation while my car was in for regular service. When I went to pick up my car I asked for him to see what he thought. He couldn't have been more condescending, dismissive, and arrogant. He told me it was worth the payoff value. I told him that I knew it was worth more. He asked what I was looking for as he was shrugging me off and walking away from me. I am an informed consumer who has bought and sold many cars. I'm not an idiot and that's exactly how he was treating me. I wouldn't buy a car at this dealer if it was the last dealer in all of CT. He should be ashamed of the way he spoke to and dismissed me.

Very rude customer service. I called yesterday to order a part for my vehicle, the woman who answered the telephone was very rude and said that the part that I needed for my Ford Explorer was no longer available and that I should go to a junkyard for the part-I needed a right side mirror. I said to her that I see the part that I needed online and if I ordered it could I have someone at Stephen's Ford installed the mirror for me? She said that she would have someone from there call me back, and NO ONE DID!

Kept $1,000 deposit on Ford Maverick for ~1 year, and didn't even contact me to order during limited window for '23 models (which is now closed). At the time of providing my deposit, I was assured I was at the top of the list to order a '23 model. Despite calling in every month or so, I think the dealership just forgot about customers with deposits. No apology or interest provided on my deposit - I was given the option to continue waiting for a '24 (LOL!) Avoid this place at all costs, as they clearly don't care about customer experience.

How sad that this used to be a reputable dealership has fallen so far and become a stealership. They lost my business over a small transaction and having to service my vehicle there THREE times because of their technicians lack of quality control.

I had scheduled an oil change and they also charged e tra for a check engine light. The service department is always upselling something and are sneaky puttingextra charges on your invoice to make money. I'm very disappointed with the service and suggest you look elsewhere for service, stay away from this car dealership.

These guys are hacks. Sales tactics and behind closed door negotiating practices from another era. I wasted two days, and a credit check, on what was the wrong car (not the one I test drove). Only noticed when my insurer reported the VIN number didn't match the make/model of the car I was insuring. Stevens apologized for their mistake. When I complained about their shoddy business practices, and a monthly cost now much higher than what was agreed to, they offered me a free oil change. No thanks.Never owned a Ford. After this experience, never will.

The service department here is a NIGHTMARE!!! If I could give this place no stars I would. I purchased a pre owned Ford Fusion with 97k miles and 10 years old. Power steering failed on me mid drive after two months. I did some research and found that There was a recall on the electronic power steering gear that was covered for replacement up to 10 years and 150k miles. I called Stevens and they couldn't take me for a week but when I got there they told me my car was just outside the warranty by 3 months and they wouldn't do anything to help me. Upon further research I found out that there was a service update done to this vehicles power steering unit 2 years prior. The dealership told me it would be $2000 to repair and that they wouldn't do a thing to help. When I went to pick my vehicle up and said forget it I'll just drive the car as is I was surprised with a "diagnostic fee" which nobody even cared to mention when I dropped the car off.The response from Ford corporate and a KID named Tyler was so EXTREMELY unprofessional and not understanding at all that I would recommend everyone and anyone to stay far away from this place. This was a problem with fords manufacturing of this unit to begin with, had been worked on two year prior with this car (while under warranty), AND was well within the mileage coverage but outside timeframe coverage by 3 months and literally nothing was done even though my daughters, wife and myself were almost KILLED by oncoming traffic when the power steering failed mid drive. This is sickening to say the least and the only decent action taken during the whole process was by Anthony (the service manager) waving the "diagnostic fee" but only when I yelled and made a big issue over the phone.Again, everyone stay far away from this place unless you want to be fully ripped off and taken advantage of.

I had every intention of buying a classic Porsche 997.2 car fromStevens Ford of Milford, and shipping it to California. My sales person, Paulo B., was the most professional sales person you will find. He made the process so simple: He was very helpful..Unfortunately, an issue came up after I had made a deposit. My garage is narrow, the fit would have been very tight, and the car was low to the extent that it wouldn't clear the dip in the driveway without scraping the front splitter off. These splitters are about $500. Rethinking these challenges, I decided not to do the deal and called Paulo B. He understood completely and was very understanding, and offered to immediately refund my deposit. Bottom line, you need a Ford or Lincoln, get in touch with Paulo B., a "Lincoln Brand Champion at Stevens Ford of Milford.
