Dr Patel sent a 76 yr old patient home that was spitting up yellow - brown phlegm and had a temperature of 101 1/2 with no prescription. She was hospitalized 2 days later and her 80 year old husband was hospitalized the next day because he was spitting out blood!Because the husband complained he was dropped as a patient because of “less than optimal physician-patient relationship! Baa like a sheep or be dropped! Both spent over a week in the hospital and the husband has been on a oxygen supply generator since! “ Update”,
Blood work for 76 yr old patient was ordered for a medical reason St Vincent HHC . The code entered by Internal Medicine was incorrect! Internal medicine said they would correct the code errors which they did not fix! We now have received a notification from Medicare that a bill submitted by Quest for over $300 must be paid for by us because of improper coding!

I wish I could give zero stars. While the doctors/nurses/medical professionals are truly wonderful the front desk staff is terrible. They are incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to patients. Raising voices at patients, hanging up on patients when they get frustrated, become aggressive/irritatedwhen you ask a question. Additionally, their billing department is a “hot mess express”, billing me over $200 because they billed the wrong insurance. Then sending me the same bill but with interest accruing while they tried to correct their error. Then once “corrected” , billing me for $10 eleven months later saying I never paid my copay…eleven months…. Save yourself the headache and go else where. Again the doctors/nurses are wonderful but the non-medical staff is awful.

I received a bill for less than $10 for a procedure that had taken place over a year ago at IMM. I contacted the office about how to pay and they said their web portal was broken/they didn't know how a patient could make a payment online. It's now been over a month with radio silence despite repeated efforts on my part to contact them. Apparently this place doesn't have a functioning online payment system in 2023 (despite their being a web portal to do just that). What a joke!

The front desk staff are pleasant. The wait was reasonable and the Nurse Practitioner who saw us, Gabriella, was very nice and attentive!We didn’t feel rushed at all and she even asked questions that made us think of things we would’ve forgotten otherwise.

Unfortunately, the level of care at Internal Medicine of Milford has gone way down over the years. They will claim to make referrals for the patient, but those referral offices never call. They receive lab results, but then don’t follow up with the patient. You have to constantly call them to remind them to do their job. They have a few good and caring medical professionals, but the day to day administration and management is sloppy and disjointed. Go find another PCP.

I have been going there for many years! The receptionist is very rude and lacks empathy for the patients. The place has gone down hill over the years. They refuse to see me and have to do a meeting via zoom. How is a doctor suppose to check if I have an ear infection. Strep or any other sickness ! Time to find a new doctor

I had a wonderful Dr for 20 yrs but unfortunately, she left the practice. I was thrilled to get into Milford Internal med. I love Alexandra Scorza & Kim at the front desk. I am very happy and confident in handing my long list of health issues to Alexandra

This place has gotten terrible. The person i spoke with in medical records was rude. Cut me off twice while i was speaking. She supposedly left a message for my doctor to call me to give me of my test results. It has been days and i have not received a return call.

Been with this practice for a long time. I tried to make an appointment for an annual check up and the earliest time I was able to get was in March, 6 months away! It is not like I am a new patient. I was very disappointed. I had to find another practice. I have always liked Dr Spaniolios but I cannot wait for an annual check up in 6 months.
