I booked a room at this hotel via a 3rd party website Traveluro. When we got to the hotel, they told us that the room was not available. No problem, things happen. They showed us another room with one bed instead of 2. Room smelled like mildew so we declined. The lady at the front desk said, no problem we'll refund your card. We booked a room at another hotel and left. Total time spent at this hotel was about 15 minutes. This is where trouble starts.Hampton Inn refused to refund the credit card after waiting for days. When I called, they told us to call Traveluro. Traveluro says no refunds, because we in fact stayed at the hotel (for a total of 15 minutes). Front desk says the clerk forgot to refund when we left, so nothing could be done but maybe we should talk to the manager. Left the manager 2 voice-mails, no call back. Finally had to dispute it through the credit card to get the money back.Total laziness and incompetency at every step of the way from the bottom to the top of employee chain. We went to Hilton Garden Inn a few miles down the road, it was an OK experience but miles better than Hampton Inn. Avoid avoid avoid!

The main appeal of this place is the location and cost. Our room was clean but some guests must have smoked something in the hallways. This place is adjacent to I95 so it was easy to get on and off the highway. Will most likely stay again in the future.

The night check in lady was terrible! She thought a phone call was more important than a guest checking in after a long travel day at 1am! I waited at least 10 minutes while she remained on the phone while not even acknowledging me.The breakfast was disgusting. Location was the only thing that was good.

We stayed here Oct 29, '23. Starting with the canopy, it was in disrepair and could not be driven through (raining). You could drive in but had to back out. Front desk was excellent and very well presented, well spoken, very helpful and obviously very intelligent. The "pantry" lacked key items listed on the menu, so we had to head out in the rain to find something to eat after a very long and tense drive. All nearby restaurants were pricey. The clean room was very small even by Hampton standards, with no place to hang dress clothes. Beds and pillows were up to Hampton standards. Shower was very slow draining with the water half way up my feet with a quick shower. Could adjust the room temp but not turn off a very loud a/c (bring your earplugs!). Breakfast lacked oatmeal, orange juice and fruit. Breakfast staff was courteous and helpful. Hall did not appear to have been vacuumed and carpet had stains. All in all a very tired property, poorly managed. Parking lot was well lit for security. If it had been my first ever stay at a Hampton, it would have been my last. We did get a full refund without asking. No I would not stay here again.

Having stayed at 100s of Hilton properties, I have never had such an awful experience.1. The Wi-Fi system lacks adequate signal penetration causing outages, dropped connections, and substantial guest dissatisfaction. The front desk staff offered no solution, but did acknowledge that access has been a recurring problem. These days, broadband access is an absolute necessity. This was not a brief glitch, but persisted throughout my two day stay.2. The water pressure was inadequate. The toilet took 5-8 minutes to fill after a flush.3. There are cigarette butts scattered throughout the front of the property, including a flower stand.4. Unlike every Hampton Inn I have visited, the breakfast options do not include oatmeal, defrosted fruit, and yogurt.5. The front desk staff had no interest or capacity to resolve any complaint and often were not on site. They do not seem to understand the Hilton 100% satisfaction commitment.6. When I conferred with the manager on duty, he refused to address the 100% satisfaction standard and suggested I "contact corporate" He had a rather unpleasant attitude.7. The outside sign for your property, viewable by the millions of travelers on Interstate 95, lacks full illumination. The failure to repair that sign represents the substantial lack of maintenance I experienced.

Great manager and front desk clerk doing the right thing and trying to accommodate guests. The gym and overall hotel needs updating, but overall no problems and perfectly adequate. Be aware no pool or hot tub in this one. Seems pretty popular because was the most reasonably priced in the area, that is why we chose it.Noteworthy details: Right off expressway

The room I was assigned was on the 1st floor, had to shimmy passed 3 housekeeping carts to my room. The tv worked but the screen was blue, called the front desk to notify. The initial receptionist was on break (she was lovely) but whoever was covering her had a nasty attitude. She said "if maintenance can't fix it you will have to move rooms". No word for 20 minutes, called back, same nasty person. She said "you'll probably have to move rooms". No timeline, no apology, nothing. She said "Ill have maintenance double check EVERYTHING to make sure it works." Called back 20 minutes later to find out the room was ready, I asked if someone could bring me the new key since I was also sick ontop of everything. No one was available. Got the key, got to the room and THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE TV. I did let the front desk know but I wasn't going to be moved again. Spoke with the assistant manager Dan Griffin on my way out in the morning who did seem to care and apologized for what happened, now waiting for expedia to get approval for a refund to my card.Second room also had mold all over a lamp shade. I love Hampton but this was a huge disappointment and well below par for this hotel chain.

Hotel has gone to the dogs, literally. Had to move to another room as the first had little yippers going crazy. Front staff told me that every room in the hotel had dogs. I believe it. Carpets were filthy. Room was so small I couldn't pull the desk chair out without hitting the bed. It was actually kind of comical. Needless to say, I won't be back.

We had a good experience for our 2 night stay. The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable and really liked the pillows We needed an extra pillow and we received it quickly from housekeeping. They have a free buffet breakfast which is the usual food. It was fine.

Location was good, easy to find, right off of the highway. We just walked in at 1 am for a short stay. Room was clean, but in the bathroom there was still the used soap from previously guests in the shower. The floor in the bathroom and in front of it needs a better cleaning, there were a lot of stains on it.Breakfast was just standard, started at 6 am, but they put up the fruit at 6:45, because the responsible person had to finish at first her phone calls... not a good service! The tables should be cleaned after use.Friendly staff. We stayed before at other Hampton Inn locations, but this was not a good impression!

Booked and got confirmation for a king bed; was told they were out of kings when arrived so given a room with one queen bed, which in fact was not a queen but a double bed. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, but so close to it that you can hear truck traffic all night. Room was very small for a Hampton. Would not stay there again.

We usually stay in Hampton Inns as they are clean and reasonably priced. This location was not even close. The first room we were assigned smelled terrible and had dirty towels and used soap on the sink. We immediately requested a new room. There was one left , we were told, so we took it. It was better, but not up to the standards we are accustomed to with this hotel chain. We were only there for 1 night. That was enough for me!

The location of this hotel is great; staff is always friendly. I'm hoping they work on bringing the gym back up to a 5-star rating by getting the Peloton fixed, providing a mat for stretching and some kind of background noise (radio/tv?) I have faith! I love this hotel and will continue to stay here when I visit Milford.

AC in all the rooms I got smelled like mold/mildew. Run down looking not nice. Staff is nice but they need a new manager.

Check your Credit card statement! Beware of double billing. They should have known that I paid already but billed me again anyway. Had to call them for credit.
