Stopped in last week and (very gratefully) worked with Mario -- had a 5-star experience. Newly into the market for a new set of irons, and Mario was patient, knowledgeable, and very artfully steered me away from the set I had in mind towards one that was better suited to my game. He did an excellent job listening, and I appreciated the lack of pressure... the guidance was always from a 'helping' place.
On a separate note, Mario's demeanor as a salesperson was exceptional; I'm still digesting the data he helped provide, but anticipate buying a set in the coming weeks. Thank you for a stress-free and educational shopping experience! :)

Just bought a Ping driver there today. The staff were great, they had good selection of clubs, and I was able to try a few drivers out before buying. Definitely recommend and will go back.

Gabe was the absolute best. My fiance and I have been to this store a few times this past few weeks but this last time was memorable because of the outstanding tips and support Gabe provided. He was extremely approachable, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you Gabe for making our trip so great. We’ll be back for sure!

If there was a star less than one, this store would be perfect for that. I live in Stamford and I called the Milford store to see if they had my putter grip. Long story short they assured me it was the same one after I told him I would be driving 40 minutes to pick it up. I drove straight there and was told that they did not have that grip and they wanted to give me a different grip . I did not want a different grip , I wanted the grip they promised me that I drove 40 minutes to get. The manager and the crew are subpar. No pun intended. They are a disorganized, unprofessional group. They did nothing to accommodate me when I explain the problem and I stormed out of the store explaining I will never be seen in that store again. Not even sure if I want to deal with golf Galaxy ever again. Horrible experience don’t go there.

Do Not Buy Used Clubs From Here! Spent $350 on a used Ping driver. Used it twice and it fell apart. Clearly was just patched fixed enough to get out the door. Brought it back in to show them and they just told me too bad. Total Scam!

Absolute terrible golf shop. Bought a seemingly untouched demo club from them in January… used it 3 times and it cracked by March. When I brought it in, they said they couldn’t do a thing. Told me they’d go back to Taylormade to get me some sort of refund/replacement and came up short SHOCKER. This golf Galaxy won’t help you with any inconvenience. Anyone who buys a club that breaks a month & a half later should be given some sort of refund/discount. $200+ down the drain after a month but now I know never to shop here again.

So I had a Ping 425 Max Driver put aside to rent for testing. When I called a few day's ago to request this, I was told it was no problem and that for $20. I can take the club home to use at the range for three day's. When I went into the Milford CT location tonight to pick it up, I was told it was put back on the floor and that they only give 48 hours to pick the club up, which I was never told when I first called to have them hold it. The gentleman said no problem, they still have that demo club. But, when I went to take it, they said it couldn't leave the store. I told him I was told I can have it for three days when I called. He said that I can only take the newer version of this driver home. So, I asked the manager why I was told that I could take the Ping 425 max home for three days when I called, he said oh, we changed the rule a fw day's ago, sorry. So I drove over 45mins in traffic to get there, for nothing. Couldn't even make an exception since I was told this wouldn't be a problem over the phone? I will never shop there again, beware if you want to demo a club.

Got fitted for clubs for the first time in 15 years, had some idea of what I wanted and was guided in the perfect direction.Cody, who helped me get fit for a new set, was nothing but the best. He walked me through what clubs we were testing out and why; he also explained why specific measurements would be tweaked in specific ways to optimize how I can use my clubs.Overall it was a great experience from start to finish and I'm tremendously thankful for Cody's insight during this process!

Cannot say much about the bad reviews considering i have always had great customer service when there. And the more you spend, the more you get back in rewards which is a great concept. Clothing prices are a little steep but so is all other stores that offer golf attire. Its a one stop shop with ordering custom clubs, wedge/iron/driver fittings, club repair, etc. i recently had (2) club fittings, irons and wedges in which i ordered custom clubs and wedges right after my fitting(s). Chris who did my club fittings is an amazing instructor and highly recommend his services if you are looking for fittings and or instruction. At time of fitting, i was pushing/slicing my shots right and Chris took a brief time out during my fitting to tweak my swing and now i have a whole new swing and i am on target to hit straight with great carry and spin with little to no effort. If you are looking for a precise fitting and or top notch instruction, ask for Chris, he will set you straight.
