This is strictly for customer service: Bridgeport downtown-5 stars New Haven- 5 stars Bridgeport East Main- 4 stars(was asked asked personal information which was not required) Milford's headquarters loan Dept -4.5 stars (a loan rep's great service compensated for the lack of the other) Milford Branch on Bic-0 stars. I've been to the location several times this summer. Ms Steer is just not warming, inviting (doesn't ask if she can help you whether you're waiting to be called to her window or at her window. Just stares. Asked me for extra personal information despite me presenting government issues identification, doesn't say thank you when transaction is complete) It the convenience this branch that makes me stop here, but her disposition is one to avoid.

Update: my loan has been processedThe office did they what they did to help me out w rate but still Couldn’t honor original rate. And one of the higher ups apologized for the situation and lack of communication. The IP office was Closed when i needed a car loan so I had to use dealer financing. GE told me they would honor my new car rate on my preapproval. There wasNo expiration listed or mentioned. Most loan approvals last over 30 days. I work w mortgages and home upgrade loans. And we tell our customers or bank does when rate expires. My wife and I tried to Complete everything online and called and emailed multiple times. We asked if we could please do in person as we have done in the past. Then when we do get things done w loan officer over the phone, our rate was no longer honored. We were never told it expired in 30 days. When I spoke to a manager she wouldnt even apologize for the poor customer service and expired rate. Even after I said “no has even apologized, for not informing of us”. I told her i ve worked w bank for years on mortgage and past loans and she said “actually sir no you havnet!!!l”. My mortgage is with them!!! She called me liar!!!!! Absolutely livid unsatisfied and disappointed. And now the cars Are Considered used so we would not qualify for new car rates else where…

Do not use this credit union....poor service. Took a car loan out with a boyfriend; he passed away 4 months later. Once they were informed of his death they refused my payments. Once I thought that was straight, they began to add amounts to the loan. They continued to try and repossess the vehicle. Looking at their records I am still behind by one payment but they continue to say three payments. Tried speaking with the loan dept. no one there wants to take the time to review the account. They DO NOT CARE FOR YOU THE PERSON. I have never been treated so poorly! I have sent all of my information to the Attorney General along with Elise Vrable's name as she cursed at me....UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!

Getting pre-approved for a mortgage loan was easy. After that, the mortgage manager officer, decided to start the whole process. After a couple months of going back and forth with the paper work, charging $400 for that, and when we thought we're in the clear, she called and said "we not going to loan the money because your credit is not good". That was waste of time and money. We should get those $400 back. Horrible experience. Can't wait to get out of there. Completely useless.

I am not a member but my sister is (was) she had a loan account prior to suffering a massive stroke and being hospitalized in December. I came across a collection email where once her account balance had been depleted by her loan auto pay, they sent out collection notices. I PROACTIVELY reached out to the individual (Elsie Vrabel) via email. I explained the situation. She called my phone number which I provided via email, in my 1st call with her I could not believe the unprofessionalism. She kept calling me by my sister name as if she did not believe it was not her. I reiterated who I was and my sister medical state in being in a long term care facility , no empathy. She starts telling me my sister previous account history and interactions with the bank and that she is certain that if my sister could not work she is getting unemployment to pay. I explained she did not know what she was talking and about and I choose not to speak with her, and asked for her manager. She hung up on me. I called branch, they told who her manager name, I left him (Thomas Gerrity) a Vmail, no call back. She calls me a week later basically a repeat conversation, would not let me speak with manager asked why, told me my sister file is now in legal and she would be being served. I asked for her manager or legal representative she hung up. I will be filing a complaint with the National credit union Administration.

I have been a member for years and have always had great customer service. I found that they have very competitive loan rates too.

The worst credit union bank you can ever deal with ! They never waive any fees for their customers especially when they are no longer working with the corona virus going on! I was told by Elsie Vrabel that she didn't care what my situation was that she wasn't waiving the overdraft fee that I was charged ! Spoke with ceo of company with her before & I never got a response from them either ! Will be closing my account today! Please do not use them their customer service is horrible!

They do not care about their customers at all. Been using them for 5 years with a perfect history, one issue and they get extremely aggressive and unpleasant to deal with. Look into alternatives before using this company.

I have always had good experiences with GE Credit Union! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Wouldn't take my business any where else.
