I went there at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.ro renew my registration. The sign on the door said appt. only,no walk-ins. I went inside and it was EMPTY!! Two young women were at a desk. One was plucking her eye brows andthe other was looking at her phone. They said that I needed an appt. I said "there's no one else here ". They said I still needed an appt. They also told me that they don't do registrations!They said that I should go to MVD in Bpt. or Hamden.???????

Excellent experience. The staff was very pleasant and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely the best DMV experience ever.

I drove about 30 minutes and had a screenshot of my appointment on my phone with all of my necessary paperwork. I was met with a rude welcoming and told my appointment never registered and they needed an $8 fee, it was my first time with the online so I had apologized and stated I could make the payment there. Daniela had the worst attitude and was extremely rude. It's really hard to believe that there were 3 people on their phones scrolling and not 1 of them could assist me. Whoever manages this place has the all time worst employees I've ever seen. This is also a domino effect as I needed to change my name so I could get a new passport in a timely manner, due to their 3 week availability times, I'm not confident I'll make my trip. I still can't believe how lazy and rude Daniela was. I even mentioned there are 3 people here on their phones and she refused to help me. Not only refused to help me due to this measly $8 fee, but she was so rude and combative from the second I walked in, I cant even believe she is employed in this type of setting. I've heard the stigma of DMV employees, I only experienced this as of today.

I showed up 15 minutes early like the appointment said. I had all my paperwork with me to get my gold star on my license. My appointment was at 3 o’clock. I walked in at 2:45 PM. I don’t remember the gentleman‘s name that took care of me but he was fantastic explained everything as we did it even re-took my picture because he said the first one was not good so he didn’t have to make me live with that for six years on my license. And I was out the door and in my car before 3 o’clock. They did a great job and they’re highly recommend!!

Nothing express about this place. The entire reason we go here is to get help faster than one would at the DMV. I don't understand the reason for this place and its existence if it does the same thing that a DMV does. This is a waste of money and all these facilities need to be closed down the employees are just robbing money and doing absolutely nothing.

The most RUDE people I’ve ever experienced. So much attitude and so much intentional rudeness. I would go to the DMV and sit there for 8 hours vs deal with these people ever again.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Do not go there for your license renewal as they are not well trained! They just want your eight dollars. Their website is confusing and the correct papers are not listed. Do not waste your time at this place. Please go to a real DMV save your eight dollars! Not to mention the customer service was horrific. The woman who was working there was rude and not well informed. She clearly was rude because she did not know how to correctly answer questions and she was trying to defer from her lack of training. I most definitely would not trust my money to them!

I paid $8.00 for an appointment but from the moment I walked through the door I was met with employees that didn't seem to care about their jobs. They all had attitudes and zero customer service skills. I would have been better off going to Hamden. Save your money. Go to Hamden DMV.

This place is a gem. Everyone is helpful and courteous. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Yes, a visit to the DMV only took 15 minutes and I actually enjoyed it. Really deserves 10 stars.

Bad ExperienceI came in early per the email requesting you to check in at least 15 minutes prior to the appointment.From there I waited past my appointment time people that got there after me were going before me it was unorganized like they didn't know what they were doing. From there I did what I had to do then when I get home I found out they didn't return my license. (I needed a copy of my driving history)Calling these people doesn't help anything I was on the phone for 40 minutes and got absolutely nowhere so I had to drive all the way back from West Haven to retrieve my license.Get back and I ask the receptionist if they ever answer phones and she looks at me with a smug look saying they don't have a direct line and that was annoying after spending almost an hour trying to contact then to see if it was there or if I dropped it going back to my car.also for those of you who don't know you have to be a member if not there is an eight dollar convenience fee

Wow! Like everyone I hated going to the DMV but this was so simple, fast & the staff were extremely pleasant to me & my 2 year old. Even when my toddler started fussing the employees were so patient & made him laugh. I was in & out less than 10 minutes.

It was a long wait for the appointment but the day of went without a hitch, in and out in less than 10 minutes. Quick, clean and courteous service, highly recommended.

I must have gone on a bad day because there was a long line already there when I arrived for my appointment. Everybody on that line, in front of me and behind me had an appointment. I waited a whole hour in 90 F heat with a mask before I made it in the door, and another 20 minutes once I was inside. There were 5 workstations but only 2 active. You'd think with that crowd waiting out in that heat that at least 2 more stations would have opened. They could have better managed their manpower to meet the crowd they had. Unbelievable!

I came in at my appointment time, was checked in quickly had a very short wait and was completed all within 10 minutes f or a license renewal. The three employees who were working were all pleasant. Probably the best experience I've ever had at a DMV.

Extremly fast service, and maintaining safe Covid19 protocols. Booked an appointment for Friday at 9:30am. Showed up 15 minutes early per the reservations request, and was done with my license renewal by 9:25am.So happy I didn't go to the actual DMV offices.
