I have been going to DI Milford for about 20 years, I was always treated well. When I got the reminder post card I called to set up my annual, routine mammogram and suddenly I need a prescription. I was told it was my ins comp making them ask. I called ins and they do not require the prescription. They even called DI and got told it's just easier to blame the ins if a patient asks. Either way they have lost an annual patient for routine Healthcare. Being lied to did not sit well. As a woman I shouldn't have be treated this way trying to obtain my yearly care. If the policy has changed they should have sent that update with my reminder post card.

I went for an Ultra sound on a Monday and was told the results would be in by the next day (Tuesday). On Thursday they still don't have the results because the doctor is busy. Here I am concerned and anxious to get the results. My primary doctor's office has been try to call for 3 days. I'm sure they submitted the bill to the insurance on time. I will NEVER go back there again.

Been here numerous times. Never had a bad experience. Courteous & professional staff. Wait times are short. I will continue to use there services in the future.

I visited this location twice in this past week because it was the only option in CT that accepted my health insurance. The staff are clearly not aware of their own policies. The X-ray tech felt comfortable sharing with me that she "didn't see anything too problematic on my scan but would have to show it to the radiologist first." The ultrasound technician would not share ANY info about my scan and shared that was their policy. She (Justine) then stated I would "hear from my PCM tomorrow morning, first thing." However, when I did not hear back this morning. I followed up with the office and they informed me that it should take 24-46 hours to receive any information. Staff need to be on the same page about their policies in order to reduce confusion and stress for their patients. The misinformation I received was anxiety provoking and stressful. I would not return to this location again. Update: it will be a week tomorrow since my ultrasound and I have still not received any results. Stellar customer service and excellent patient care all around (insert sarcasm here)!

Same day US Appointment is great, but if we don’t receive the results, what is the point? I am waiting my US report since this morning.

I want to thank China and Denise for their wonderful care Thursday September 8. Thanks to them, I had no sign of bleeding from my contrast injection site. Since I am on blood thinners, that is a big deal! China was so kind and compassionate during the scan and after. Please send her my appreciation. Helen Fisher

Always liked this place till today- drove half hour - bad traffic made me 10 min late and I was turned away after waiting 6 weeks for the appointment - ughhhhh :( Now I wait another month fir next opening......

My experience at Diagnostic Imaging of Milford was perfect. During this time of COVID, the staff took great care in making me feel I was in a very safe environment. They also had posted one of the best "Wear a Mask" signs - showing the proper and incorrect ways of wearing masks. Thank you!

Do not go there. They will deny access to your medical records. You're better off going somewhere else.

Only giving this place a two star for having good receptionists. Otherwise, my experience here was absolutely awful. Doctor wanted me to get a mammo because of family history and he didn't know what the issue was. Went here and they were going to refuse to give me one. I understand that under 40 it's harder to read,but I got one anyway. The radiologist for my ultrasound was rude and condescending. I know from research that age "matters" with this, but there's no need to treat someone like a child about it. I could hear the doctors loud and clear while I waited too. So much for patient confidentiality. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I have been coming here for the past several years and never had a reason to complain until my recent visit on 6/15/21@12:45pm.Upon arrival it was mentioned that the computers were down and I patiently waited but when approached by the receptionist and asked my name … I thought I was at the DMV … not very polite or welcoming… when she didn’t understand my name, she asked for my I.D and insurance and why I was there (asked and answered) she then proceeded to mumble and again asked my name, I told her you have my Identification and she said I had an attitude…. I said I don’t have one, I didn’t come in with one , I’m merely responding to the tone she was projecting on a patient and she kept using the computer is down as an excuse for her behavior.When I was called into the exam room to have my mammogram done, the technician was not very gentle but I thought everyone is different and have their own techniques but I have never experienced so much pain. She kept retaking the images with each one more painful than the last and with the same breath asking to let her know if it hurts. Two days later and my entire chest wall still hurts all the way up to my neck, my whole left side is in pain (none of my mammogram ever caused such trauma) the machine was not just pressed down on my breast but was also squeezing my chest.After careful consideration I don’t think it was a coincidence that I was purposely put through this type of harassment. In such an unprofessional environment I don’t feel safe and will never go back again.
