“Andre diagnosed and fixed our broken JennAir oven after we moved into our new home. While it was expensive (>$800) to repair the broiler and install some safety valves as it had been fitted incorrectly for propane, Andre was so nice, informative, and helpful, explaining everything in detail. “They have all the things you need. I recommend using the mobile application to help me locate the item. The staff is very helpful, and are happy to assist if you need help. The only negative is that the registers are usually backed up during or near peak times.”

“This Home Depot is my hometown store. Essentially it has everything the other stores have, my only criticism is the fact that some items are not the same as other stores nearby. For example, whenever I visit the Fairfield store in the front, outside they normally have grills and other items in the front- but some of the items the Fairfield store has are not the same which are out in the front of the Bridgeport store. The Fairfield store has all types of Weber grills and other high end models but in the Bridgeport store you have the lower models. I wonder why. But essentially for all most hardware, tools and paint needs it is about the same. One thing I will say is the employees at the Bridgeport store seem to be a lot nicer.”
“Home Depot is on top of their game. We needed some painting supplies and to match some paint. Lebert,originally from Jamaica was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, friendly and has a great sense of humor. Thankfully there were no lines, and he took us immediately. He couldn't have been more helpful and treated us as if we were his family. Home Depot has a impressive variety of fully stocked supplies at a wide range of reasonable prices that as a consumer, I completely appreciate.”

“Unfortunately, the items I needed in the Home Depot in Orange were not in stock. They sent me to the Hamden store. After spending five minutes looking for someone to help me, I was able to find the items I needed. The store was not in the same clean condition as the one in Orange. I would feel more comfortable shopping in Hamden if there was a security guard or two visible. In view of the increase in crime committed in Hamden, I do believe the store would be doing more business with additional staff.”
“We have gotten several items from here stratford is our favorite and never had issues all staff is professional Jessica when i was sick she would help me when i couldn't walk in and Matthew the best manager and so professional and caring and all the staff was so helpful and professional. I thank you all and will continue to get my items from here.”
“When I came to Home Depot I asked a man who was working a different aisle to call assistance for me in the lumber aisle. I needed a price check as well as for someone to pull a bundle of wood forward so I can check if they were dry. I waited for about 10 mins and nobody showed up. So I walked around until I found anyone who was willing to help. I then spotted a worker named James D. Who was just clocking back in from a break but was very happy to help me. He not only helped with my original requests, but he went above and beyond and helped me load up my cart, helped me find additional items on my shopping list that were in other departments and even offered to help lift any heavy bulky items in to my car if needed. I normally have a hard time finding help at any store I shop at, but James went above and beyond and I will return just because I know he is willing to help the best he absolutely can. Thank you James!”
