Horrible service! The staff is very childish and makes their own rules. Be vigilant or they will scam you. They are SCAMMERS!

BEWARE OF SCAMMING!!!!
There was a “Emergency Order” for construction outside of my apartment building overnight, so my car was towed by the PD to Anthony’s at 8PM on Tuesday night. Wednesday afternoon, once the PD informed me of where my car was, I called Anthony’s shop number, as listed on their website, in effort to find out how much it would cost so that I could get cash to pay to get my car back. The phone only rang one time before going to voicemail, so I tried a few more times to get through. On the 5th call, a man answered the phone and said "what?!?!" Unsure if this was the auto center, I asked if my car had been towed there. The man replied that he did not know and he was busy and would not be at the shop for another 30 minutes.
I went over to the shop and see if someone could help me, as to not risk an increased storage rate. I arrived at the shop and no one was inside. I texted the number seeking clarification on the hours as the door said they were open until 5 PM, but no one had been there since 3 PM. The man responded "I told you I wasn't there guess you didn't listen" and that my bill would be $251 and needed to be paid in cash. I responded asking for clarification on the amount due because I had been informed the non consensual towing fee was capped at $125 (per Connecticut statute) - the man did not respond.
In the meantime, I called a neighboring shop to question the price. They told me that the statute does cap the fee and that it he insisted on the excess payment I could file a complaint with the DMV.
The man arrived to the shop at 4:07 PM and told me my total was $258. I looked at the bill and asked why there was a 2 day storage fee when the car had been impounded less than 24 hours ago. He told me that my car had been there for 2 days. I pointed to the 8:09 PM 8/27/2024 impound time on the bill (less than 24hr ago) and he just walked over to the computer and said "it will be $210.00." I asked him to please print me the new bill as it was still in excess of the statutory maximum. He told me I did not know what I was talking about and that police having your car towed is not a non consensual tow (which is quite literally exactly what a non consensual tow is).
When he handed me the new bill I noticed he was charging me $56.50 for a 10 mile towing charge. I'd asked how that was the mileage when his shop is only 2.4 miles away (note: the bill says "dispatched at 8:06 PM and impounded at 8:09 PM“). He told me he did not know what route the tow truck took and that it was ultimately my fault for parking where I wasn't allowed.
I reiterated that I was just confused where the numbers were coming from and the bill had already changed once since I’d been here so I just wanted to clarify. He told me he would not discuss it any further and that I could either pay it (and that he would not give me change) or that I could leave and I had 5 minutes to decide what I was going to do.

Amazing!!! Ronnie and the team were life savers for me! My family and I (and 2 dogs) had arrived to the area from NY on Friday night, with plans to visit some colleges for my oldest son on Saturday. As soon as we arrived Friday evening, my water pump went. Luckily Anthony's was only a few miles from the AirBnB we were staying at. I arrived at the shop first thing Saturday morning and the team work with me as best they could. They understood my predicament and committed to doing everything they could to get me on my way. And they delivered! They were able to find the part (after a few attempts) and the mechanic propritized us and was able to get me back on the road. We were even able to visit all of the colleges that we had planned for that day. They turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a very positive one, which I am grateful for!

On a trip to visit my in-laws our car was struck by a falling tree when we were on the parkway. Anthony’s not only towed our car, they treated us with kindness and empathy for what we were dealing with. They waited while we cleaned out the car and even mailed our plates to us. Thank you Kristen for all of your assistance.

My starter died, and Anthony's got it fixed in one day. Their work was impeccable and their prices are reasonable. I didn't feel like I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman - which is a huge issue with most mechanics! I was very happy with their service and will be returning there when I have future issues with my car.

Complete crooks, please avoid them if can. Ask the police who the tow company is before you let them tow your vehicle. They will up charge for everything. Very rude staff.

As we were approving a gas station and a pump, their tow truck driver came flying across and almost T-boned us. When we addressed him and pointed out his reckless driving - his response was to swear at us.
