25 Lawn Ave, Middletown“I don’t even know where to start on how great this experience was. We purchased a puppy that was located in PA. Our state (RI) had a stay at home order which complicated transport. We contacted Elaine 2 days before we were supposed to pick up our new puppy, and as luck would have it, she had a pick up scheduled in for PA that day. She was super accommodating, kind, and affordable! I 100% recommend her as your pet’s transport service.”

“I was a zipper member for a few months while my vehicle was receiving a recall repair that was taking several months. It is a great service for occasional use. They allow you to book cars online for some period of time. You pay for what you use once a member. I can see this would be quite useful for those who want to occasionally run to the shops or plan a road trip vacation. I found the availability was pretty good as long as I planned ahead. If you need the car force hours to do your grocery shopping and errands, availability is likely to be better on short notice on weekdays. Taking a trip such as a weekend away would likely need advanced planning to get the availability you want. If you are able to use nearby sites this can improve the chances of getting what you need. I am in a small city so the alternative options aren't great, so I was sure to plan trips of a day or more a month or two in advance especially for holidays and long weekends.I really liked the billing. For short term use you pay by the hour, and for multi-day use you pay by the day which makes it more affordable. You should also note you're responsible for gassing up before you park. You will have an insurance to cover you S part of the fee. This gave me piece of mind especially while using someone else's vehicle.I found the vehicles to be reasonably well maintained and clean. It's not the same as your own car buy better than public transport. All in all zip cars are a terrific idea for those who have occasional need of driving but do not want the hassle or expense of car ownership. They are ideal for occasional shopping and errands around town for a couple hours once or twice a month, or for planning road trips if you don't have a car or don't want to add the miles on yours. It's not well suited for regular use such as going to work. The prices are fair and reasonable for occasional use in my opinion. Availability was sometimes an inconvenience but with adequate planning ahead this could be avoided. It seems to me this is likely to be most effective in urban areas so multiple options of vehicles and time availability are in close proximity. Zip cars helped me when my own was at the dealership for extended recall work. Had the program been available during my student days I likely would have made use of it.”
