From St. Vincent de Paul Middletown
St. Vincent de Paul Middletown, (SVDM) founded in 1980, focuses on “meeting needs and offering hope” to the poor and homeless in greater Middletown.
Over 1,085 individuals are served 90,000 nutritious meals each year through our community Soup Kitchen. Over 1,400 people seek basic support services and emergency funds through our Community Assistance Program. Ninety percent or 1,260 households are families with children. Over 925 families each month receive three days of nutritious groceries at our Amazing Grace Food Pantry. Seventy-eight formerly, chronically homeless individuals with with disabilities and addiction live successfully in their own apartments through our Supportive Housing Program.
