When it came time to finally makeover our dated living room, I could not part with 2 side chairs so we made decision to have them upholstered. I sent pics to Oak and Velvet and they responded quickly and with a very reasonable fee. Then came time to pick out the fabric...what I thought would be an easy decision became an hour plus adventure with the designer. There were tons of fabric books to choose from and the designer offered many beautiful ideas (and was so very patient with me!). We also had a custom ottoman and pillows made to go with the chairs and they came out absolutely perfect! I had missed an email that the ottoman was ready for pick up and Erica was gracious to wait for me to come late to pick it up right before the holidays. Since the service and workmanship were an exceptional experience, we are now going to have them custom make an ottoman/coffee table. They also have a great selection of custom pillows that are better in quality and price than anything you would get at Homegoods or Marshalls. Exquisite service from the beginning to end. Katherine helped us find the fabrics for reupholstering as well as gave us expert advice on paint colors for the rooms we were redecorating. Our Duncan Phyfe sofa needed repair, which was perfectly restained and reupholstered. We highly recommend Oak and Velvet

I am so impressed by the craftsmanship! I had this chair reupholstered, see the before and after pictures. The whole experience was easy, and communication was good. I appreciated that they helped me lower the price by using fabric in stock. When I asked for some extra fabric so that I could do a small ottoman myself to match, they insisted on doing it for me, complimentarily. When I was in their warehouse, I could see some of their other finished projects and was very impressed. Would definitely go back.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences I have had working with Oak and Velvet on numerous occasions. The owner, Michael, is professional, very accommodating, pleasant and eager to please. I have purchased a sectional couch, side chair and ottoman,drapery, bedroom bench and a couch for my daughter. Michael and his staff were so helpful in helping me to choose styles, fabrics, pillows, etc.

My wife and I bought this classic wing chair about 35 years ago. It has been reupholstered several times. When it needed the work this time we heard about Oak and Velvet and gave them a call. We were, to say the least, extremely pleased from start to finish.

We recently had two wing chairs redone and I'm thrilled with the results! They were in terrible condition but were brought back to life. We are terrible at picking out fabric, so we were looking for guidance which we got. This was our second experience with Oak and Velvet as we had another vintage chair done here many years ago that has held up beautifully. I can't imagine going anywhere else! Plus, it's a really cool venue! I'm sure we will be back.

Had the cushions in the waiting area at my place of business reupholstered at Oak and Velvet...They look better than new! They were extremely professional and with out of their way to work with us. I highly recommend them!

Couldn't be more thrilled with the results of my waiting area at my salon being reupholstered by Oak and Velvet!! Their customer service was amazing! They came by my place of business show me a sample of the fabric that I picked out a week earlier. They worked over the weekend, so we did not inconvenience our clients. The cushions look better today than when we bought them. As for the price extremely fair! I was beyond impressed!

Absolutely love my new custom Ottoman! Fits perfectly in my living room and it looks amazing. Everyone was so professional and friendly at Oak & Velvet. They told me the turn around time for customs pieces was about 4 to 6 weeks and 4 weeks later it was ready. The fabric print, which is like a zigzag, lines up perfectly from top to bottom. I even dumped water on it after it was delivered, since I ordered the fabric protection, the water beaded off it and did not soak in at all. I would definitely recommend Oak & Velvet to anyone, 10 out 10 from me!
