Very knowledgeable and easy to work with for both suit rentals and purchases. Owner was very generous and accommodating during the rental and purchase process, making sure we got exactly what we were looking for. Suits were great quality and fit perfectly. Highly recommend.

Sal was truly a hero in fitting the groomsmen for our wedding. Many of them were out of town and unable to come in for fittings, which Sal handled with no push back. The tuxes were perfect and exactly what we had imagined our big day. Highly recommend Sal and his team in Middletown for formal wear, he knows what he's doing!!

Owner was great! Got us in and out, and squared away with a tuxedo for a wedding. We live in Miami, so I was a little apprehensive coming up to Connecticut without something to wear. It was a fantastic experience.

Sal is the best! My now husband has been going to Sal for many years, as have our friends. From proms to weddings, we knew we would be in good hands with Sal and the team at Modern Formals for our own wedding. Sal was quick to answer any and all of my questions, made recommendations when we weren’t sure about what we wanted to do for color combos/accessories, and made me feel at ease the entire time. Our whole wedding party looked and felt great and we owe it to Sal!

This place is the absolute best. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else but here for any formal occasion. Sal is kind, funny, and has an eye for even the smallest detail. This was the final detail for our wedding and I left with the biggest smile. A truly family oriented place!!

Sal is a lifesaver! I needed a tux for a black and white, formal company event in Las Vegas and waited until the last minute to get it organized. I called Sal, shared my situation, and I was in his store 30 minutes later getting fitted.
