We have been purchasing our steaks, roasts, lamb, and pork from Meadow Meat for decades. Best meat and prices in the area. We order and pay by phone, and pick up is so convenient.

Best Butcher in the area. Customers become loyalists. The focus is on exceptional quality product and a personalized customer experience. The prices are competitive with your local grocery store. If there is a wait (rare) , it's worth it. There is a reason. You can always call ahead! I recommend going inside and having the full experience at least once. Definitely recommended!

Great meat market, I bought lamb shanks, bones for broth (half the price at the grocery store if you can even find bones), stew meat (turned out tender after a sear and slow cook unlike the stew meat from other places which has often resulted in overly dry meat pieces) and chicken. Everything was high quality and the staff are very helpful and kind. Also they’re open very early which is nice!

You gotta go there to get there, it's tucked away from the strip malls, but boo yah! All professional butchers, freshest meat, and lower than average prices...?
If you can make the trip there for meat purchases, you WILL be happy with your decision.

I love this place! Order ahead for easy pickup or get there early to be served by the amazingly friendly butchers. The meat is really high quality and the people knock themselves out to cut to your specifications. I have never talked to anyone there who wasn't in a great mood. It's definitely worth a trip!

I have come to this place as my spot for meats since moving to CT. It is a top-notch business. The quality of meats you receive is exceptional, and the prices are fair. The associates as always helpful and courteous, which is awesome. They are also personable, which makes the experience more enjoyable. Mary, who helped on November 11, was a star! She was so helpful, and we also had great conversation throughout my order. Keep her around, her personality will take this business far! I will continue to grab my meats from here as long as I am in Connecticut. Highly recommend!

I recently discovered this gem about a month ago and I will never look back. Each time I visit the staff been friendly and helpful. They cut to order and offer some great specials. I'm even getting my Thanksgiving turkey from them! I do recommend dressing warmly when you go because it can get quite chilly in the meat locker who let you wait your turn! In truth, def worth the wait as your eyes will pop at the selections available!

I went there today to get a ribeye steak. Usually the service is fantastic. Well today I asked for a bigger ribeye then what the had out front and when the person waiting on me went into the back to talk to a butcher, I heard them loudly say he was busy and there was already some put front. He then walked out front pointed at them and walked back into the back. The person waiting on me then asked if I wanted the steaks that I didn't want for a cheaper price.

This place has a huge assortment of meat in all genres. The staff is very accommodating. It has been around for years as a family favorite in the community. Ask for Matt, he will go above and beyond for you!
