Just found my mechanic HOME! Being from NYC it’s been Hard to find a mechanic! Mainly due to the business hours of most shops in CT. But Here at Joe’s Auto Electric I found family. Have never walked into a shop and not felt awkward etc because being a woman knowing so little about cars it can be intimidating. But not here, the owner just has a gentle nature and makes you feel at ease. The whole staff! Love this place would recommend over and over and over again!

Let me start by saying I never would of known they existed if it wasn't for me towing a member to joes .The member was telling me how good they are electrical wise knowing how I was having the same electrical problems with my truck. I work hard hours trying to figure out on my own what the issue was and couldn't pin point .literally bringing to 3 different shops and was turn down because they couldn't fix it which became truly upsetting. I was so skeptical of even trying another auto repair and wasting money and not getting anywhere with it . gave joes a shot and they was friendly and professional by greeting me and taking my vehicle in for a appointment. STEVE IS AMAZING LET ME TELL YOU ,"HE IS LIKE A DOCTOR FOR VEHICLES LET ME EXPLAIN" They walk you through a text followed by a phone call on the procedures there going to make on your vehicle and with an estimated quote to keep you informed, you can deny or accept .after that you will receive a text saying when your vehicle is available for pickup AKA discharge papers if you get the irony lol.THEY PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND TAKE THERE TIME! They fixed my truck when nobody else couldn't well worth the funds Ipaid for it. Met the owner and he's a great guy I felt no other shops can compete Against them and if im wrong LETS GO FOR A DEBATE. I STAND BY JOES 1000% AND Wouldn't GO TO KNOW OTHER REPAIR SHOP .GIVE THEM A CHANCE AND YOU WILL THANK ME LATER THE POSITIVE REVIEWS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. THANK YOU JOES YOU WILL SEE ME AGAIN I PROMISE!

Wonderful Experience, Thank you Joe's!
Our 2015 Sienna's water pump failed on our drive home from vacation in MD to VT. We limped into the parking lot at 4:00am, and met the proprietor Joe at 7:00. The shop doesn't open until 8:00, yet even with a full schedule, they took our van in (before they opened) and fixed it that day. We couldn't have been more impressed with their care, communication, and level of professionalism. They kept us informed at every step of the process, and went out of their way to help us get home. Their techs did top notch work, diagnosing, checking in with us, and replacing relevant parts every step of the way. They even called later in the day to say that some of the parts that we had discussed replacing together did not need to be replaced, saving us money. Did I mention it was over 90 degrees? This is a fantastic service shop that clearly cares about people, and does high quality work. Can't recommend them enough.

Had a wonderful experience at this shop!!! Called Thursday with wiring issues from having a remote key starter put in and not being able to get emissions done due to faulty wires… had an apt on Monday at 815am by 11 car was fixed AND they even took it to emissions for me!!! 10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE. Need more family owned businesses who care and get it done! Thank you guys for fixing the problem I had for over a month 3 diff emission testing sight 2 diff mechanic shops

Installed long tubes on my old dodge pickup and needed an exhaust done. Brought my truck here and the quality and sound is beyond amazing. All the welds and pipe bends are really good quality, highly recommend this shop!

Trustworthy and reliable
I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we received. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff that cared about my wife’s vehicle’s needs.
They quickly diagnosed the issues the car was having and explained everything in detail in a way that was easy to understand. There were no surprise charges or unnecessary repairs suggested.
It’s clear that Joe’s takes pride in their work and values their customers. The prices are fair and competitive, especially considering the high quality of service and expertise.
I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning for any future auto repair needs.
