“Every location is different however the staples are usually in stock at the Middletown location. The Aldi Find’s aisle is a shoppers dream with limited time and seasonal items. Wednesday’s are special for new drops.”
“We love Big Y and recently had an exceptional experience with Lori- she was able to accommodate a last minute Sub shop request with such kindness and professionalism. The sandwiches were wonderful and we were so impressed by her hard work!”
“I have been here a few times since they transitioned from Price Chopper to Market 32.
The changeover has brought the store back to life, a very fresh and clean feel when you walk in.
So far so good with the produce selection and I say that because I've been to several stores with produce and most of it is not up to par. A lot of bruising or mushiness or just not appealing produce.
I look forward to the continuance of good produce, as this may be my new spot for it ?
The employees have been wonderful and very helpful when I've needed it
I do want to thank the woman who helped me out in floral with my Mum's last week. She went above and beyond to help me.
What I liked most was the conversation and help did not feel forced, she was very sincere and I appreciated that.
This is now one of my go-to shops every week or two for items I need / want.
They also have grocery pickup, which I will definitely be trying sooner than later.”
“I was in the Middletown area and decided to check it out and possibly get a sandwich to go. I had a vegan barbecue mushroom sandwich absolutely delicious and I thought very reasonable.”
“I have been to this Price Chopper location a couple of times now. It is not as grand as something like Whole Foods, but it is convenient for those in Middletown-area.Upon coming in you are greeted on your left by the Sushi section, which is always nice and fresh. In my opinion, the best aspect of this supermarket. Nearby they have grab-and-go options like fried chicken and sandwiches. None of them are the freshest looking though and they have a lot of sodium. The salads here are average.The main section of the supermarket where you can get your traditional supermarket items like cereal, water, fruit, etc. is well-stocked and clean, which is nice.The checkouts usually move fast unless you come in the afternoon on a weekend. Otherwise, check is pretty quick and easy. There is also self-checkout options.The parking lot here is very large with plenty of parking, which is nice!Altogether, Price Chopper is your traditional supermarket, but the prices are good and the location is clean with a good variety of products.”
“Carman is amazing. I am back to editing this review and again. She works hard and deserves a raise. She is doing the work of three people. No joke. I am changing my review to 5-stars because the employees keep this store running like a top! Carman, in particular, has went above and beyond to serve the customers. She has helped me many times. She taught me how to use the credit card machine faster, to find things, and keeps me informed on deals and promos. She remembers me and my name too. I don't know how she does it! She is ?”

“Solid mini mart I have been around here since first grade and they've always been nice, the cashiers have changed over the years but that doesn't change the spirit of the store, the selection isn't all that big however it doesn't need to be for where it is and what it is, it's a little cramped and it can get really busy around certain times of days depending on the season”
“Stop and Shop has bern serving the community since 1914! Thats a lot of history! It's a great place for weekly shopping needs. It's conveniently located south of Downtown in a plaza serving your shopping needs. The store is laid out well and each aisle is marked, making it easy to find what I am looking for. The staff are helpful, and even replaced an item for free when I accidentally dropped a glass jar at checkout. Very nice! They have PeaPod delivery for those who do not want to shop in person. Their prices on many items are moderate but they also carry a wider selection and trusted name brands than other stores. These are the main reasons I find myself returning to this store. They also have a good bottle return station for your soda cans and other returnable soft drink items.”

“Perfect Steak Philly. Chili dog amazing. Chicken salad salad worth the every penny. There should be more sandwich shops like this in Connecticut for sure.
And they make breakfast sandwiches apparently. Absolutely a good place to stop for food.”
