Customer service with does it help much cuz they're in the Philippines. The worst part is that my package says it was delivered to someone who doesn't live at that house at this house. The name is wrong. My name is on the package. There is no way that I signed for this package cuz I've been waiting for it. So I would like for FedEx to get rid of the drivers that they have that have these many mistakes cuz it's going to cause you guys your business and no long run UPS doesn't have this problem. USPS doesn't have this problem, just FedEx. I would like my package and I want a ASAP and I'm clear everybody else feels the same way. That's complaining about this FedEx delivery service that you guys have. This is unprofessional and then nobody checks the name on the package. My name is literally on the package and you delivered to somebody who it doesn't belong to for somebody got a free juicer and I want my package. Driver needs to go get it and I think every driver needs to go get every package that they miss deliver.

I ordered a package and it was shipped smartpost 2/19 - it arrived to Middletown, CT FedEx 2 HOURS away from me on 2/21 and sat there until 2/28. I called prior to the package moving and was told by FedEx they couldn't help me or give me a direct number for the hub it was at and that I needed to contact the company I bought the package from so they could put in a complaint. I then contacted Target and they said that because it was being transferred from FedEx to the post office I had to at least wait until Thursday 2/29 to contact them again and see if it moved. I really needed the package by 3/1/24 and with no accurate information given and the poor reviews of the FedEx Middletown CT hub I had to result in spending more money and buying the exact same thing from somewhere else. Today 2/29 - both packages I ordered are now out for delivery.

Worst place to work. Dont take this job! Like the rest of the reviews, manager power tripped. I was one of the only girls. They take advantage of you not being allowed a phone (meaning you can't record and defend yourself).I worked two or three shifts after training and on-boarding before quitting. I was one of the only young ladies amongst many men doing a job throwing heavy boxes into trailers all day. No air-conditioning, fans barely work, PEOPLE (not a person) died doing my job.Manager Kevin who sits in an air-conditioned office checked my attendance to see that i was late after I asked him why my paycheck was so short (I made 200$ for the week doing this job with no air-conditioning, throwing heavy boxes such as toilets and vacuums into a trailer).Kevin yelled at me in front of the many many men working in the warehouse who he wouldn't dare to speak to the same way. Screamed at me and refused to let me speak and get a word in as if I'm his dog. Mind you, the other employees brag about being late without repercussion and I actually had car problems. You are better off at amazon lollygagging for 16-18$ an hour. I quit immediately applied to amazon (was praised by my fedex supervisor for it). At amazon, I ate snacks, set up my phone to watch a film, and put small items like stickers or laundry detergent at most into a bin for 3-500/week or 1k/week as a delivery driver at a good dsp.

My package was supposed to be delivered two days ago, and has been held up at this location for 72 hours, with no expected delivery date. Additionally I can't reach anyone from FedEx Customer service. Very frustrating.

After seeing how it's run I can see why turnover rate is so high and why packages around this area always come damaged. They don't care. First day on job all the safety we learned went out the window

My wife started a job as a package handler because the kids started school and we need the money. Sounded great based on orientation and my wife was cool with it...until the *real job* started. First day was easy, a few packages down the conveyor and load the trailer. Second day was "your in the trailer by yourself and load the trailer no matter what comes down". The job description is up to 50 lbs max. My wife is loading 100 to 150 lb boxes routinely. Toilets (literally toilets), Chlorine tablets, household goods, and other heavy items on a consistent basis. Boxes weighing far over their 50 lb limit. Safety? Pffffftt. A joke. The chutes just keep spitting boxes no matter what you do. No breaks, no care. "That's your job that's what you signed on for" managers even get pushed to make numbers . They didn't supply gloves, which you'd think is standard, however nobody cares. She lifted a box leaking liquid Chlorine and there wasn't any Stop Work or other protocol followed. Be expected to be treated as slave labor.

Called about my package that has been there for 2 days now. Asked if I can just pick it up and the customer service rep was extremely rude and it felt like she was doing that on purpose. I really feel they need a management change asap!!!

Ordered a package on the 26th of August. It's now September 10th, and I still don't have my package.Took 4 days from Kentucky to Middletown and double the time just sitting there. I could've driven there and picked it up myself. They said it left the facility on the 8th. I need the package by the 12th and it seems that won't be happening. Customer service was quick to get off the phone with no explanation.Going to tell the site that I ordered from that FedexGround Smartpost should NOT be an option going forward.

Worst customer service ordered my package on aug 30 and they lost the first package. Had to make a claim and then they sent out another package for me and lost this one and can’t give me a valid reason why they keep losing my packages please shut this location down or get new people in the site to do there job correctly

This review comes from my experience as a Package Handler at FedEx -I began at FedEx as a way to make money over the summer. Little did I know that I would be dealing with the most incompetent managers I likely ever will encounter in my working career. Floor managers and their superiors are brainless, failing to even learn my name, while multiple of my time off requests were approved and then not honored by those responsible for scheduling. Communicating with these people is an unnecessary effort. Ultimately, I was terminated for not showing up on a day that I had requested off (which, again, was an approved day off that they failed to accommodate but also happened to be a Tuesday, a day that I was never available for but was scheduled for anyways). You will show up to work only to be run into the ground by the excessive amounts of packages to load in the back of the hot trailers, where you’ll be sweating the entire time. There’s no air conditioning with the only source of coolness being the fans that blow into the trailers. To put it simply, these are entirely uneffective. While they preach safety in this building, you will likely be impacted by the number of unsafe work conditions such as packages coming full-speed down the chutes right where you will be standing. You’ll be lucky to not trip over these or have a package slam against your leg. Also, online application states the potential to earn up to $20/hour. This is a complete lie in order to get you to apply and you’ll actually be making closer to $16/hour on weekdays. If you have any self respect and wish not to deal with stupidity, save yourself the time and do not work here. I’m absolutely sure that my experience at FedEx will be the worst of my professional career. Also, on another note, if you order a package through FedEx, expect your item to come broken. These are the standard set forth by the various managers and Package Handlers who, ultimately, do not care whatsoever if a damaged package is of any inconvenience is caused to you.

Horribly unprofessional and terrible communicators. I played phone tag with these people for weeks before getting hired only to discover some truly negative things that applied to me and my entire orientation group once we started working.-You will not get the hours you applied for. Period. You leave when the sort finishes and your manager tells you to leave. It will never be consistent.-You will have difficulty setting up direct deposit. Their systems are slow and you will have to work before knowing when/how you will get paid.-You will work extremely hard at a physically demanding job. I have worked at two different Amazon warehouses but this job (I am load) is leagues beyond them in terms of physical requirements.-You will have little to no help or guidance even during your first few shifts.- If you work an ovn/sun shift, you will work alongside people who are sun-depraved and miserable to be around.-You will have questions and anxieties yet have difficulty finding anyone reliable enough to alleviate your concerns. And then you will hopefully leave a bad review like me so that other people can know to avoid this place. The turnover rate is extremely low for a reaosn... Save yourself the pain and find another job with comparable pay.Protect your body at all costs—you only get one.
