I went to DG in Cromwell on 4/20/24 around 3:30p to buy pks of soda. I had the coupon on my app but for some reason, it wasn't transferring. There were 2 ladies there. The younger African American one did her best to help me while the older either white or Hispanic lady had an attitude. She finally agreed to use a coupon for me. She only used it once and refused to use it further. I wanted to buy a lot of pks for my party but she wouldn't let me. I went to another branch in Middletown and they used their coupon for me, something that the older lady in Cromwell refused to do for me. I bought about 30 pks from this other one in Middletown and they were very professional and friendly. I probably won't shop in Cromwell anymore unless things change. Mind you that someone in Cromwell store previously told me that they always have coupons in case I lose mine

the assistant manager Kenya was really rude and unprofessional. She didn’t know the policies and made the situation worse. She refused to do her job and I wouldn’t recommend this store. The customer service is a 1 out of 10.

unorganized, dirty, they take for ever to restock, most staff especially managers are rude and ignorant. This store has no loyalty or respect for anyone not even there regulars.... These people are even Disrespectful to minors!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR CORPRATE AND RESTAFF!!!!!

No benefits like paid time off or anything else only store manager gets as well as store manager piggybacks off of the teams work only store manager gets the bonus not the team who does the work don't call h.r here or they'll out you or short you to 1 day a week and call you an ""H.R NIGHTMARE""also they will short your check and gossip behind your back as well as not pay the agreed upon amount you ask for upon hire not work the HEADACHE

Convenient, clean and not too crowded. A great store to grab a few groceries (no fresh meat, veg or fruit). Also, can be compared to a smaller version of Walmart.

Why bother having an in store pick up option. I ordered two bags of chips and two 20oz bottles of soda for pick up between 4 and 5. It is 5:07 and still waiting for the confirm to pick up the order. Not impressed at all with this store. It is always filthy inside too and horribly cluttered. Guess I’m out my money I spent on these items, as I can’t even cancel the order now. The best part when I drove by the store there was not a single car in the parking lot, so they can’t blame being busy on not getting this done.
