Love the unique designs, and commitment to the community. My shirts (from many years ago) have gotten softer with washing and wearing. I get regular compliments on the design.

This is such a cute store and they are environmentally minded! Much of the decor is made out of recycled materials. All their items are handcrafted and most are from local makers. They have something for everyone and some home items. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I have participated in multiple street and beach clean ups with them. So their social end eco friendly ways are just as important to them as anything else and that makes me want to shop there even more.

This event was right up my alley. I got to use my craft room and also be creative at the same time. The saying one man's trash is another man's treasure Is a model that the owner of center and salt truly lives by. I loved her enthusiasm for her business and trying to make the world a little more sustainable with her business. Who knew that some scraps of what I would consider garbage would make a gorgeous color rainbow by the end of our hour together. I can't wait to start gathering my own materials and have my nephews make their very own colorful rainbow.

This was a fun event! First, Alex shared an overview of what Yelp Connecticut has been up to - looks like y'all have been busy with some awesome activities and delicious food. Then Rachel from Cinder & Salt told us about her shop, how she got into the business, and about their eco-friendly efforts. Their upcoming trip to see the sea turtles in Costa Rica sounds amazing! Then we got to work on our repurposed rainbows. Rachel had a lot of very neat examples to show us, and it was interesting to hear about the different items she collects to repurpose. It definitely will make me think twice about what I can do to repurpose other items again in the future. I also got glue gun envy ... I had no idea they made heavy duty ones like that! Thank you to Alex, Jess, and Rachel for a great crafty time!

LOVE this place!! What a find! We just moved to the area and are so happy to have found this gem! All local hand made and super well curated items for your self, house & home!! We found multiple gifts, jewelry, decorations. The skinny ties are to die... cannot wait to buy one for someone in the future! Check this out! Must stop if anywhere close to Middletown CT!

This store is cool. It primarily sells fun, soft, American-made shirts. I love that it's a local business, and the fact that I can order sale items online and pick them up in the store. The last time I ordered, my sweatshirt was ready that day! They have a good selection of merchandise, and even more online. They print shirts for men, women, and children with cool graphics. The store also offers unique accessories to wear, as well as for the home. I definitely recommend it!!

Love this store, fun prints on all sorts of clothing! Have purchased several items here. Staff is always friendly and store is just a pleasure to be in to browse, as they are very eco-conscious and have numerous postings about how they are helping the environment, and how we can too! This is one of the coolest stores I have ever been inside. I love absolutely all of the clothes and socks but what really struck me the most was the decor made out of recycled materials. I've never seen anything like it, and it really puts into perspective how much more cognizant we should be of the things that we are throwing away. The fact that they're so so eco-friendly is refreshing, and I can't wait to stop in again soon for more cute gifts for family and friends.
