Convenient but very small post office. Usually has only one person behind the counter. If you happen to need stamps and 2 people are ahead of you, it may take a while. But it's has a more old fashioned feel and I like that.

Worst post office ive ever been to. Worker not only entered the wrong address on my package but then told me that I wrote it wrong! I didnt notice he entered it incorrectly until I was driving away looking at my receipt because he skipped the confirmation screen on the module. Then I went back while the truck was being loaded to ask him to fix HIS mistake, and he would not go and retrieve the package from the truck while it was still there. And the package ended up getting delivered god only knows where because he put the wrong city, street and number, he was also very rude about it, laughing in my face and saying that it will “probably get fixed” but it didnt, never saw the package again and lost 25 dollars. NEVER GO TO THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU WANT YOUR PACKAGE TO GET TO ITS DESTINATION!

They gave my GREAT mail man another route..always on his grind. I'm currently not getting my mail or they never show up. I spoke with young lady inregards to the issue....pretty much I was told that it will get there when it get there. I'm a reasonable human being, Maybe the guy or lady is new . I think there should have been a better response . I'm getting a P.O box this week and hopefully this should eliminate any consistencies.

Worst post office I've ever been to they could have just gave me my package before I had a flight with no cell phone inside my package is a battery instead. What do they do they bring me to the other side and have me stand at the counter for a supervisor meanwhile everyone's putting the packages on the trucks to deliver them when I deliver Lee told him I need to get my package before it hits the road because it was supposed to be delivered yesterday and it wasn't and now I have a flight where I need my battery for my phone they were extremely rude push me off I sat there for 20 minutes got mad and left they did nothing and they don't care don't ever go here go somewhere else

My mail has been lost twice in the past month. Tracking says it's delivered, but it's not here. I've filed a claim and complaint. Beyond frustrated. Not to mention the staff was really rude the one time I went in. They couldn't track their OWN tracking number.

If I could rate this post office a "negative" 5 stars, I would!! The most "inept and incompetent" post office I have ever encountered!! If you want to ever receive your mail, don't expect to receive it here!! From the managerial staff, all the way down to the letter carriers....(mine was great, until he decided to go on multiple vacations and had others "try" and deliver my mail) I've had to pick up my mail at neighbors locations, they've cancelled my mail and had it forwarded to my neighbors new location in another state, they always tell us our "address doesn't exist" and send back packages, they've lost our mail for 2 weeks, somewhere in the post office....,they said a package was sent to Philly Pa. but it wasn't because the package didn't even belong to me!!...they tried putting the blame on Amazon, funny..., I know, these are only "some" of my experiences here!!! ....If you think of doing business here, Quick...Run away!!!! You'll thank me later!!

Awesome USPS. Good parking and lots of light. It is an older building but they can't just up and move.

Clean and staff helpful, lobby well lit I felt like I was in the sixties and I needed to get my platforms and bell bottoms out. Definitely could use some paint and new lighting. 3 stars for decor

So I had a certified letter that needed a signature on 6/28/17 Got the little piece of paper that said sorry we missed you. The thing is I was home all day. I live in an apartment complex. They have a key. I got a second notice. So I signed it and put it back in my mail slot. Next day when I opened up the mail the notice was gone. I was assuming it would be redelivered a couple days later...nope. Still haven't gotten the letter as of today.I just moved here a couple a months ago and so far I'm not impressed. Let's go to today. I had an express one day mail that was supposed to be here today 7/25/17 by 12pm guaranteed or your money back. I saw the mail truck circle in my complex dropped two packages off at different buildings. Nope nothing. It is now 12:30 and nothing has come. Tracking still says in transit will be here today stated above. I'm not happy. I just know you can never count on the USPS to deliver things on time!

I have excellent experience at this Post Office. The staff here are very friendly and professional. I recommend that if you need to stop off at the USPS, this is a good place to go.

This is about the worst post office imo on the planet! My husband & my father were both in the military, so we moved around my whole life. Very few problems. This place? OMG! I live in Middletown, but get mail for the same "street" in Meriden - HELLO, different zip! I also get mail for other people who's last name is also Italian... & no, I'm not picking on the gov't for decision making they have no control over. I'm griping about incompetence & laziness! I also just love it when I complain & get told that they've not had complaints before. My response is, "Really? Because I've complained!" There was the time I ordered copies of my daughter's birth cert in Jan. We had paid for rush processing & 2 day shipping & certified, so extra tracking requiring a signature. Ordered in Jan & got them in March! I'm handicapped & in many cases am sitting 15' from the door - especially when I'm expecting something. NOBODY knocked. I don't have a doorbell, but I have a neurotic JRT that barks incessantly when someone even thinks about stepping on the porch! I called FL to get a tracking # & it showed they were still with USPS. Called several times on several days bugging them & FINALLY they were found in some bin with "lost" mail - that info came from the person that found it. Many times I've had something "out for delivery" change to that it couldn't be delivered due to an issue with the address - something about no access. Open porch with mailbox on wall. I was told that there is no option for "carrier ran out of time for the day" & so they just pick a random one & yet I've been told by several friends & family members that work for the USPS that there is no "ran out of time option" because they're supposed to work until they finish. Sooo? Every time I complain, it gets taken out on our mail. In 2016, I was in my room upstairs. Now, I'm hard of hearing & I heard what sounded like something huge hitting my porch. It was the box with my laptop in it! It seemed ok. Now the hinge squeaks! I looked out the window & the guy was standing in the yard. He'd frisbee'd the box. This gets done a lot. It was also done with a package of rockets! They don't always come up on the porch with packages anymore. Then there's the package that said it had been delivered last Saturday. It was - several houses down! It was CLEARLY marked with MY name & MY address, but the carrier misdelivered it & then the @$$hat there opened not only it, but the item in it! This item is now useless as it is something that is supposed to be sterile! This sort of thing happens a lot! I get many of our meds vial the mail...or sometimes don't... Also, here's another thing. I buy & sell on ebay. That "delivery confirmation" is a legal document & the USPS is screwing with the livelihoods of MANY people! They deliver it elsewhere & the people don't take it to the correct address & then it's gone. When this happens to companies, they in turn raise their prices to cover their losses. There's been many times I've been out in the street with several neighbors exchanging mail. That is not supposed to happen!! Shipping prices have skyrocketed. Shouldn't the delivery reliability? I mean, no matter the price, we pay for a service we're not getting! I have at least 1 mail issue per week. 20+ YEARS this has been going on! I've always had a barky dog too. I do have to say that going to the post office is ok. Sometimes they have the, "I'm on the clock so I'm in no hurry to help" attitude, but that seems to be literally everywhere!

I have been working with them for years. Staff are very friendly, and try to process client needs as quickly as possible. They also hold packages for periods much longer than most other USPS stations will if you are busy or are away. Brian Ghilliotti

I moved to Middletown, CT less than 1 year ago. Before moving, I have never had a problem with mail delivery by USPS. Now, I have had problems with several packages not being delivered. Most recently, tracking information gave no reason why a package couldn't be delivered, though "out for delivery". The second attempt (on a day that I worked from home), "carrier has no access." My Post box and front door are both street access; as I worked from home, I am also aware that there was nothing blocking street access. Middletown USPS has a serious problem with either their carriers not knowing where they are delivering mail to, or blatantly lying about why deliveries can't be made.

I ordered an item and it was suppose to be delivered today, Sunday. Tracking said it was out for delivery. All of a sudden, there is a ! sign next to it. They claimed: The carrier was not able to access the front door to deliver your package. This sometimes occurs when carriers do not have an access code for a gated community or secure building. Please contact for next steps. My mail box is in front of my house. Next to it is a few stairs leading to my covered front porch, where in the past they have left all of my deliveries. What access code do they need to go on my front yard? Someone got paid time and a half and probably sat home all day and then said he couldn't deliver packages for this bull s%%% excuse. Pure incompetence. One of the items I need by tomorrow morning. I will be calling and talking to a supervisor. Unacceptable!!
