“Excellent staff and everything I've shipped from here made it safely to its destination. They do a great job packing items for customers. Can be pricy since it's just a UPS franchise store and they're not actual UPS employees, so it feels like they're just making up the prices sometimes, but again... Packages get where they're going. That's more than I can say for FedEx and sometimes the post office.”
“We purchased a printer here last week in February 2025. The associate, a female, who helped us was very knowledgeable about every printer and helped us decide which would be best for our needs. We purchased an HP Envy 7900e for printing documents and photos. The printer has been excellent! I would recommend this Staples if you're in the market for a printer.”

The gentlemen working recognized that we were not super familiar with postage and kindly taped our package (while noting that it did need to be taped), helped us figure out the zip code to an address we were given the incorrect zip code to, and gave us the address of the nearest UPS for a return we needed to make through them. We were very thankful for his patience and assistance.”
“Amani to the rescue! Staples was busy, so I decided to call the local FedEx which is only a couple of miles from my house. I thought they only did shipping, but gambled and called. I need two copies of my resume rather quickly for an interview. Amani told me to come on in and she would have the printer ready. She guided me through the process. She reviewed the print job before I did and wasn’t satisfied, so she reprinted and the quality was spectacular. Additionally, FedEx doesn’t charge the extra fees that Staples does when you go to the counter for a print. Staples is such a racket. Now knowing that I have FedEx close to home and have treasures like Amani working there, all of my printing will be done with FedEx!”

“Awesome small town USPS. Parking isn't the best due to the building being built in the 1960's. Avoid the rush times 11:00-1:30, and 3:30. Frank and Kim are great at what they do.”

“Just a quick shout out to these guys… I see a lot of negative complaints and some are from people who don’t understand the duties of a driver delivering items and some are with higher expectations…Honestly, I have no problems with Estes. They make sure they contact me for delivery date that is acceptable for everyone. I have an easy access warehouse dock. Accommodates large or small truck and that makes delivery easy as well. Friendly drivers, friendly sales and office staff, accurate delivery times. The driver even helped take off the load. Was not asked and was not expected but graciously volunteered to did that. Came with their pallet jack. Other companies don’t always have a pallet jack on the back of their truck.”

“These guys have been absolutely incredible in the process of locating my packages. The pastfew years I have moved around the state and dealt with many post offices across Connecticut, and Portland by far cares the most about the individuals in this town.Not sure if they got a new post master or what exactly happened because when I first moved here I was having some minor delivery issues, but they seriously go above and beyond to help people out and they deserve some real recognition for it.Be a decent human when you talk to them- they’re stretched very thin, and still are managing to do their best despite the circumstances. They risk their lives daily to get us our Amazon packages and Time magazine subscriptions. Thank you guys.”

“So Julie at Cromwell post office was rude and unhelpful- the manager at Cromwell agreed and got us into Middletown post office for our passport
We were met with 2 individuals Sue and Bree who were helpful, service friendly and knew who Julie was bc they had dealt with several others that had bad experiences at Cromwell
Therefore this is a shout out to those individuals- Julie and Bree- who went out of the way to help us- when the rest of the postal service let us down- and were kind humans

“Usually pretty quick in line. Never stood there for a long time. Only had 1 issue a year ago trying to send a package out that was prepaid and it was for up to 5 lbs, it weighed 2 lbs and kept saying it's too heavy...?
Now I do everything online besides a couple things. But staff is usually friendly. Went just the other day and 1 guy was up there and no line! Very friendly older gentleman”
